Testing from iPhone.

When I installed the WordPress plugin on the iPhone several months ago, it wasn’t working, probably because of some funny coding or something. Of course I was too lazy to figure out why, so I just deleted the app after trying for a few times.

As I was updating WordPress and some plugins today, I thought I should try using the app again. It seems OK so far, and as you are reading this, I was typing on my iPhone – while watching movie on my iMac. :)

Blog Merging… Almost Done.

The blog merging process seems to be smoother than I expected. Only a few problems occurred – mostly problems that I’ve created myself like forgetting to backup the links in blogroll. @.@ I’m still updating it, so if you used to see your links in the blogroll but it’s not there now, please let me know. :)

I’ll slowly minimise the use of the Shopping Cart on this blog and monitor the performance from time to time. I honestly do not want to mix personal matters with business but I really can’t cope with handling so many blogs now. And the ‘kia-su‘ creature in me wants to make EVERYTHING perfect. Damn it…

Sometimes it’s amazing to learn that, the most perfect thing in life is actually the simplest one. If I started my blog without hoping to separate personal and business, I would have saved a tremendous amount of time. But, that’s life. :)

FREE Blog Header Makeover.

Yeap. You read it right. FREE. Blog Header Makeover.

The truth is, apart from doing our regular business project thingy, me and darl also decided to slowly create another ‘sideline’ on digital solutions. Business cards, gift tags, collage sheets, calendars, and even website (this will have to come later, since darl hasn’t got the time to work on it yet), just to name a few.

I’ve had plenty of experiences working with blog header for WordPress but I’ve never worked with blog header for other services, like blogspot, etc.. And seriously, I’ve been wanting to work with those services. Since I’m super in the mood today – as you can see, I’ve modified a bit of the headers of the both my blogs :) – I’d love to help someone redo their blog headers.

I’ll take in 5 orders this time. Meaning 5 headers get to be done for free. One header per person. You’ll need to equip me with the followings:

  1. Text(s) that you want to include.
  2. Size you need for your header (in pixels), and file type.
  3. Colour preferences. Or you can show me your desired colour combination from external sources (eg: www.colourlovers.com). I may not be able to apply all colour in but I’ll consider all.
  4. Font preferences, if any. Any free Mac fonts or any common fonts should be available.
  5. Any design inspiration and ideas that you would like me to consider into your new header design. Try not to say ‘design anything you want’. This is your blog header and my taste may not suit you well. So take advantage of it! :)

I will work on each header on a first-come-first-served basis. You can revise as many times as you need, until you are happy with the outcome this round. One condition, for this free makeover, I’d like the chosen five to dedicate a blog post and write about the new header that I’ve done for you in your blog. You can choose to link back to this blog or not to link back, it’s up to you.

So drop me a note if you are interested, include your email, and I’ll contact you if you are the first five. :)

Attention WP Sifu-s…

If there is any Sifu-s out there reading this, can you see the Google Ad just right below the first post of the first page? It’s below the texts and above the tags. It looks like this:

Can you tell me how to get rid of it? @.@

I’ve checked in my Google Adsense account, I don’t have this unit registered. I’ve checked in my theme’s index.php. I can’t find any code that reads like ‘google’ or ‘adsense’. I can see the code from Nuffnang there, but not Adsense. I have also checked my single post.php. No relevant result.

And the worst part is, I totally forgot when, where, and how I got it in my blog! Help! @.@

Welcome To My 3-Column Template! lol.

Woohoo! Me and darl spent a night modifying the 3-column template that I’ve downloaded, and this is what you are seeing! :D

Why do I want a 3-column template? You may ask. Well, I’ve been trying to look for a good one since months ago. I just wanna reorganise my sidebar to be more… well, I’m not sure how I want it to look like yet, but I’m I didn’t want it the way it used to be. So with this new template, I’ll be testing around arranging my widgets. Hopefully I’ll be able to settle with one that I’m happy with soon.

I hope you like my new 3-column template. Special thanks to darl. Muaks. :D
