Another Vet Visit with KayKay

So this fella vomit in the car today. Eeek!

We brought KayKay to the vet again for a follow up. She went hiding behind the chairs when we were picking her up at my grandma’s place. Poor thing must have thought she’d be cut open again.

Unlike her first trip, she vomited in the car on our way there this round, and drooled a pool on our way back. Lots of cleaning is much needed for the car!

Gone Were The Stitches.

As schduled, we brought Xiao Bi back to the vet yesterday to take off the stitches, just to find out that the stitches were already gone. -.-

The clinic assistant said that she had probably made herself a vet and chewed them off. -.-

If you ask me why I didn’t notice. Well that’s because I’ve never got myself stitched before (touch wood!) and I totally had no idea how it should look like.

It was obvious that she was terrified going back to the vet. I guess it wasn’t a good experience for her. And her tail has since been down after she came back. I read on the internet that it could be ‘cold tail’ (injuring her tail muscle) or it could just be that she isn’t really sure about the whole idea of going to the vet… yet. Insecure, in other words. It should go back to normal in a week or two. Let’s see. Otherwise, she might have to go baco to the vet… again. >.<

Annual Vaccination/Booster.

Xiao Bi’s annual vaccination/booster was actually at the end of July. I was kinda hesitate to bring her to the vet, mainly because I wasn’t very sure if it’s good for her. After researching over and over, however, I’ve somehow decided to let her get the jab. But with the weather lately, I dragger for another one week – she wasn’t supposed to get wet for about a week after getting her jab and she likes playing in the rain!

We finally brought her to the vet yesterday afternoon. The moment she got into the car, she turned into a chicken-dog. -.-

She just couldn’t make herself comfy and keep squeezing herself around. And then she was also breathing heavily while checking out the traffic outside.

Thank god we arrived at our favourite vet, Peng Aun, around 20 minutes later. She was already tucking herself in my arms like nobody’s business. My whole body was covered with her fur! @.@

There wasn’t many people and we just waited a while outside. A customer carried a pug out of the office and that’s when she got out of control… @.@

She still couldn’t sit or stand still on the weighing machine, and certainly not on the table. Dr Teoh was examining her and she kept licking the assistant. When everything was done and Dr Teoh was washing his hands, she went drinking the water from tap and licking his hands as well. Totally out. @.@

I took this photo with my mobile on our way back, placing it just right in front of my face. That’s how near she got herself to me.
