Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and OMG I’ve just got the longest break at updating the blog in a long while! Definitely not something to be proud of, but I wasn’t sitting there doing nothing. We’ve got a lot of things brewing for NottyPooch and even more for huey&wah. So much that we barely rest these days.

Two years ago, we participated in Etsy’s Special Delivery project, where some Etsy admins worked with Citymeals-on-Wheels to bring nutritious meals, handmade greeting cards and companionship to elderly New Yorkers. For some reason we missed last year’s event *eeek*, but we are doing it again, and this year, with our own cards. This afternoon, we’ve sent out a recycled billboard banner Valentine’s card, and a You Complete My Heart love card from our PoochD shop in a package to Etsy.

I haven’t been really celebrating Valentine’s Day for a few years. No thanks to Wah. This year, with Valentine’s Day falling exactly on the first day of Chinese New Year, well, as you may have expected, boo. :P

But I’ve given someone a little sales. :) I have been wanting to get a card to participate in Etsy’s project, Special Delivery: Share Your Love for a while, but hell with all the busy thingy I just didn’t have the time to make a purchase on Etsy. I wish I could send our own card there but with the deadline so near, I don’t think we can make it on time. :/
So this morning while struggling in between my jewelry process with CNY reunion dinner in mind, I searched around Etsy and found a few that Ilike. And then I settled with this.

I initially wanted a pink card but when I looked at this, immediately I want it. Not only that the colour combo is nice, it looks neat and it’s on sale, I also love the fact that she stated ‘ Do not let my low prices fool you. You will receive quality items made with quality products, just at a lower price. ‘ This price thingy has been on my mind lately and I’ve just talked to darl yesterday. :)
