Pet Project: huey&wah @ Etsy

Things went a little insane last week. New items, voluntary work, not to mention insomnia and several other unexpected incidents, including one where Coco squeezed herself out of the gaps on the small gate and got herself out in the front yard, pooping and peeing everywhere. Party!
Wah left for KL today for some family matters, and should be back on Wednesday. While he’s gone, I’ll need to work on photo shooting of the new items (meaning lots and lots of researches and experimental sessions and perhaps some frustrations too), cut a whole bunch of new pieces preparing for an outsource work we are working on, and source for some supplies too. And then in between, there is also walk time with the dogs so I can at least hold myself together.
But in the meantime, I’ll need to catch up with some sleep, hopefully until lunch hour. The rest will have to wait until the brain can function. :)
Finally, all work done – at least for the moment.
Both me and DARL haven’t been sleeping more than 5 hours a day, for a continuous 4-5 days. I work from home during the day time, rushing for the project from our little business, while he had to report at work. We continued rushing for the project when he came back and had to stay up late at night. He then had to report at work again. I know that he is now extremely tired. So am I. Today I could at least start to rest and I slept for a continuous 6 hours during the day time, but he still has to report at work, and will only be coming back late at night…
I slept for another one-and-a-half hour in the afternoon. I feel like sleeping again now. @.@ I wonder if I’ll turn into a Sleeping not-so-Beauty? LOL.
New projects coming in tomorrow. So good night. :)
This morning I received a call from my cousin. She has a friend, whose friend has a dog, looking for someone to adopt. It’s a 10-year-old she, mongreal. The reason for the adoption was that the family is moving to a flat/apartment, and they can’t bring the dog along.
Apparently the daughter has been very desperate looking for someone to adopt her family dog. She called up SPCA and posted online, doing everything she could. She offers to pay for her dog’s bill (care, food) after adoption. And yet, no one wants to take the poor fella.
The mother has scheduled to put the dog to sleep tomorrow. I wanted to help but my mum gave a firm NO. I am not sure how else I can help except to spread the word and ask around.
I feel so sorry for the dog. After years of loyalty and serving to the family, this is what she is getting. All I can hope for is for her to get a better next life.
There is a dog living behind my house, or maybe two of them. I have never seen them before until lately, like 2-3 months ago, when one of them have somehow developed a weird hobby – barking non-stop for hours when people are sleeping.
For instance, two nights ago I came back at around 10:45 p.m. after having a late dinner with my family. The long-winded dog was already barking. I thought it’s a good idea for him/her to bark now, so he/she would keep quiet later. But the truth is, the barking didn’t stop until at least 2 a.m. The reason of barking remains unknown. I’ve only heard the owner gently asked the dog to ‘shut up’ before 12 a.m.
This morning around 6 a.m., the long-winded dog decided to carry on with his/her hobby again. He/She continuously barked until around 9 a.m.. The owner came out and said ‘bye bye good dog’ at around 8:45 a.m., leaving the dog barking, barking, and barking.
He/She doesn’t like to bark when people are awake. He/She only barks during the hours when people are sleeping. This explains why I have dark eye circles and eye bags.
