Little Dolly Up for Adoption.

Photos courtesy of my brother with his new fancy Nikon DSLR. :)

Meet Dolly. She is a 2-year-old Shih Tzu. Her previous owner decided to put her up for adoption because they are moving to a hi-rise today. Yes I know, it’s such a short notice. And they couldn’t provide any photos earlier, which makes the adopter-finding process even more difficult. If no one take here in, they intend to send her to a local shelter which practices euthanasia. So after some negotiation with mom, we took her in to foster, hopefully not long-term since we’ll be traveling soon.

She is superbly sweet. Smart, and obedient. Right now she follows Wah everywhere he goes. And she doesn’t make much noises. Having had big crazy demanding dogs for years, I actually forgot that dogs can be quiet and pretty much low maintenance too. :D

She certainly has some skin condition that need to be attended, but once it’s taken care of, I’m pretty sure she’s one gorgeous girl – I mean, check out her eyes. Each of them is as big as her nose!

If you are in Penang and would like to give Dolly a home, please leave a comment. I will get back to you ASAP. Serious adopter only, please.

UPDATE 20:00 – Bonus that we found out during dinner – she makes this ‘crying’ little noise to tell you she needs to go out and pee. :)

UPDATE 16:00, 3 November, 2011 – Thanks to everyone who has helped to spread the word, Dolly has been adopted by a loving family with 4 other doggy-mates to play with! Have a good life, Dolly. You are such a sweet little fella, you totally deserve it! ;)

It’s Been So Long…

I was checking the date of my last post here and OMG it’s been so long… I’m starting to feel really bad about myself not updating this blog… @.@

It’s been extremely busy lately. New projects coming up at work place. New products in the pipeline for NottyPooch Design. Everything requires attention and extreme care. Everything requires time. I just wish I could have enough of time. Enough of communication. Someone please talk to me!!! (Damn it I sound so sick… @.@)

Anyway…

Xiao Bi was loosing her appetite a few days back. She skipped about 3 meals continuously – 2 breakfast and 1 dinner. I was rather worried but she seemed to be as monkey as usual. Rainbow (my cousin’s Shih-Tzu) came visiting and she was extremely happy and scared that poor fella off. Btw, Rainbow is only about 4kg! Imagine Xiao Bi sitting on her… HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Anyway, she got back her appetite last night. I guess it was just one of those time when she needed to clean her own digest system up. I so wanted to bring her out, to the beach or just to have a walk. But I guess unless someone finally says that he is FREE, I won’t get the chance anytime soon…

Anyway…

Here is she sleeping on her favourite spot in a hot evening. She somehow heard my camera ‘too-too-ing’ when focusing. :D I accidentally set the camera’s white balance to fluorescent (or something), hence the blue-ish effect. :D

The Dog.

I think most people know about The Dog, the company from Japan featuring different breeds of dogs photographed with big heads (see the clock on my sidebar if you are not sure).

I first encountered their products when I was in secondary school. It’s so happy seeing them featuring dogs in all possible happy emotions and positions. I guess it’s always great to see happy dogs. :)

Recently when my cousin, Wen, was back in Penang with her Shih-Tzu, Rainbow, her sister, Min, took a few photos of the innocent fella. That’s our version of The Dog. Photo courtesy of Min. :)

PhotoHunt: Old-Fashioned.

It has been a while since the last time I posted for PhotoHunt in this blog, and I thought maybe I should start doing it this week. Hopefully I can keep up. :)

My late first dog, Snow White, has been an old-fashioned lady all the while. She disliked trying new games, going new places, tasting new food. She disliked meeting new friends too. This was what happened when my cousin’s Shih-Tzu, Rainbow, came visiting at my grandma’s place some time back. The photo was taken via a mobile phone camera, and hence the bad image quality.

Happy Hunting! :)
