For some reason, none of the baby cactus at the workstation survived. Okay maybe one of them but I have the feeling that it will follow its friends in the near future. At first we thought it was some crazy critters – I swear one time something ate one of the baby cactus and left a hole in the soil! But upon closer inspection, I think it’s us. Probably too much of water, which I don’t really understand because we don’t really water daily and every time we do, we only water a little.
But! Luckily there is always a but. Those aloe vera are still growing like nobody’s business, which is a bonus. So instead of the dying cactus, we use aloe vera during our photo shooting session for the planters. We made this little container using an old mineral water bottle to help with photo shooting, and I really love the shape. I think it’s elegant and unconventional.
I basically have no weekends. My weekends are like weekdays. If you look at it from the bright side, everyday is like a weekend. How sweet! Except that in my case, everyday is like a weekday.
And for some reason, I just have to re-shoot photos on weekends. It happened when I was just sitting there thinking which part in our business that I need to work on/tweak and the next thing I knew, I was already ironing that huge piece of background cloth with my camera aside.
I ended up changing all of the first photos of our MacBook and MacBook Pro sleeves to something with white/grey background again. I’m sorry, I just can’t stand looking at them with ‘other colours’. It’s just so not-us. I guess at this point you can say that I’m pretty obsessed with the ‘clean’ look. Funny though my work space has never been ‘clean’. Bah!
I was way too tired after shooting all (nearly 50) of them, and decided to shoot the 2nd and 3rd photo for the others tomorrow. Well actually, if I could, I’ll shoot now, but it’s already night time, and I’m really, really, really very tired. So I’ll have to wait.

It’s 2:15 am. Someone will never understand why I can’t sleep. Or rather, someone is never willing to understand why I can’t sleep.
Anyhow.
The photo shooting sessions today came with so much fun and frustration. I ended up falling for these. Can you imagine they were actually taken at 7:00 pm when the sky was already half-darken? Oh and it was raining! Nope no light was used. Special thanks to the tripod and the oh-so-reliable camera. :)

Completed all MacBook Pro sleeves. Still need to work on the MacBook sleeves. No more Sunday for me… wait, what is Sunday?

I went digging out a piece of grey fabric and did some photo shooting. Not too bad, I guess. Just need to flatten the fabric more – oh did I mention that I’m not very patient with ironing as well?

With the new batch of MacBook cases all majorly in white, I’ve been having some difficult times trying to take good photos out of them. By saying good, I mean GOOD. I like shooting these cases on white background. I know at times like this you can use grey or some other natural colours but as much as I want to, I’ve been trying to find a piece of paper in grey that is huge enough for me to do a good photo shooting with no success.
Now this is really irritating me because, well, to be honest, I’m not very patient with photo shooting, at all. After listing two of these cases, I decided that NO THEY ARE NOT WORKING. Which means I’ll have to schedule another photo shooting session tomorrow – oh and by the way, that gloomy weather throughout the day didn’t help much with the perfect lighting either.
More work tomorrow.
