Almost 9 out of 10 people that I know have the habit of wearing their watches on a daily basis. Some even claim that watch is one of the most essential accessories for them. And some wouldn’t mind spending thousands to buy a watch.
Personally I am not a ‘watch-person’. I haven’t been wearing watch since 6-7 years ago. I somehow feel that the watch seems to have created a ‘weight’ on my wrist/hand and I just never like it. The last watch that I’ve got was a Swatch Skin, a present from my parents when they were in Switzerland. I liked it a lot but still, I couldn’t stand the weight.
So people have been curious on how I keep up with time. Well, I used to look at other’s watch – yeah you know like when I was taking a bus or monorail people tend to lift their hands to hold the handles, and I tend to peek at the time, lol. I also used to check out the time from shops when I was out. This kinda trained my sense on time and timing. :D
As for the recent years, I tend to check out the time using my mobile phones. :D As you can see down here, it’s 20:12, 2 May 2008, when I was taking this photo. :D And yeah, the wallpaper is a photo of my GR, Xiao Bi, when she was a pup. Time flies…

Happy Hunting everyone! :)
Yesterday I was still sick. I don’t know why but I think this virus is hooking up to me too long. So long that I nearly can’t remember the first day I got sick. @.@
Anyway. I happened to IM Charles and he told me that he is in Penang – again. Since I wanted to go to so many places – yeah although I was sick – and DARL didn’t have the time to go with me, I asked Charles if he want to spend a day with me. With Charles, sometimes it’s really easy to get yourself a companion, and a driver. :D
He picked me up at around 3:15 PM. Since he said that he can stay with me for the whole day, I told him that I wanted to get myself a Rosemary plant. Well, I wanted to get one for some time. I read somewhere on the WWW that it’s a natural mosquito repeller and recently there were really A LOT of mosquitoes in my house and in the garden. So I thought maybe planting Rosemary would help…
Anyway, we first went to GardenKu near Botanical Garden, and they didn’t have it. On the way out, Charles suddenly remembered about the Tropical Spice Garden at Teluk Bahang, and insisted to drive me there. OK lor someone wanna drive me there, of course OK. :D And this was when he started to call himself Mr Pandai, because he thought he was so clever to come out with the idea. @.@

So we reached there about 20 minutes later and OMG the place is so COOL and I was so damn regret that I didn’t bring along my camera. So all the photos here were taken by my Nokia 2630 camera phone. @.@ At this point Mr Pandai was even more sure that he was too pandai to bring us to this place. @.@

The pond at the entrance of the Tropical Spice Garden. And Mr Pandai said the shot from another angle will be nicer…

Look at the boat in the middle of the pond!
We walked up to the Cafe and Shop area, which doesn’t require us to pay, otherwise entrance is RM13 per person. They have this simple yet unique table top deco that I simply love!

So it’s time for reunion dinner again. Like others, we had ours on the Chinese New Year eve, which falls on 6 February this year.
The reunion dinner for our family is being held at my grandma’s place in Butterworth. Grandma, as in my DAD’s Mum. Normally on this day, DAD and MUM will go over earlier to help out with the preparations, while me and my brother will join in later in the afternoon.
Same thing happened this year. We left the house at around 17:00 after my brother closed his shop. I happily grabbed along my Nikon D40x, thinking that since we would be taking the ferry, I could snap a few photos and do a few experiments.

Queuing up at the ferry terminal. The queue looked pretty long but it didn’t take very long for our turn. I think they are getting more and more efficient. :D

One of the random shots along the roadside.
I was happily snapping and deleting the photos that I totally wasn’t aware that the battery was FLAT! Yeah FLAT!!! What the H!!! -.- This totally ruined my mood for the evening. I was hoping to have some nice nice photos of the food ma… Sigh… @.@ So from now onwards, what you see were all taken by my Nokia 2630. As mentioned, it’s not a high-end gadget. So no high quality photos lar… :(

Erm. Skinny is really a difficult theme for me. Well yeah most of my family members are skinny. But I don’t feel like posting their photos here. :)
So as I was wondering what should I post, I saw my new Nokia 2630 resting beside my computer. Erm, I guess the right term should be ‘thin’. But do bear with me this time. :)
I bought this phone about a week ago – or rather DARL bought this for me – to replace my about-to-retire Sony Ericsson. Well it’s not an expensive gadget, but good enough for a person like me who only make phone calls, send SMS-es, and sync with my Mac. :)

Here is the Nokia 2630. Claims to be only 0.99 cm thick! By the way, you can still see the screen protector came right out of the box sticking out. Hehe. :D

A comparison with my old point-and-shoot digital camera from Konica Minolta.

Here it goes. I am sure everyone else will get better photos compared to mine this time. Hehe. I’ll drop by to visit everyone tomorrow.
Happy Hunting! :)
P/S: Check out the cool reflections under the photos! Special thanks to DARL. ;)
