Little niece Chao Chao and I spent a little time in the the evening planting our wheat berries.
We (or rather, I) didn’t realise the pot was too small for our bowl of wheat berries, and ended up moving them to a much bigger foam box that was already filled up with soil. And she was so totally into covering the berries with more soil!
Isn’t it nice to be able to pass something about love to the next generation? :)
Mum’s old friend came visiting yesterday. As usual, little niece a.k.a Chao Chao was shy (or just refused!) to address her as aunty. When the lady was away, I asked her, ‘Who is that?’ （那个是谁啊？） Niece, ‘Aunty uh…’ （那个是aunty啊。。。） Me, ‘Did you call her aunty?’ （你有叫aunty吗？） Niece, ‘No uh…’ （没有啊。。。） Me, ‘Why is that so?’ （为什么没有叫aunty啊？） Niece, ‘…because I have no manners uh…’ （草草没有礼貌啊。。。） :D My funny younger brother came out with another funny idea again. This time with the help our our little niece. Took us a while for her to go into the mood. And with a Mac at hand (damn I sound like a salesperson…) it’s so easy to make this. This will be my official mobile ringtone for the next couple of months! :D |
