New Year, New Ball.

While waiting to see the results of our first 3-day sale (doesn’t seem to be very successful today, although we did get a few convos, but fingers crossed…), I’ve got Xiao Bi a bouncing ball a few days back, and finally snapped a few photos of her playing with it yesterday morning.

She has always been a big fan of balls, especially those bouncing type. She doesn’t like the random bouncing of her Kong toy but loves to catch the flow of a bouncing ball. I’ve seen her enjoying herself with Bobby’s tennis ball and the golf ball from our neighbour. So I thought, to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year, perhaps I should get her a new toy. Too bad they don’t have one in red. lol.

The ball. The photo doesn’t appear to be clear because just when I was pressing down the button on my camera, Xiao Bi knocked me from the back. -.-

In fact, the ball has been quite useful. I now let her bounce (yeah, her, hehe…) for 5-10 minutes before our regular evening walk and that really makes her a little more tired and easier on the walk.

I tried to take photos of her bouncing with the ball but she was just too fast. Perhaps when darl is back things will be easier. :)

Our New Toy.

Finally me and DARL decided to get a new toy for our little project… the Nikon D40x! Yeah! :D Thanks to my friend, Shoo, who works in a camera shop for getting us a good deal.

We have been planning for this for quite some time. Yeah we are not professional photographers but we would like to have a better gadget to shoot some better quality photos. Besides, I am an art student. :)

I have yet to finish exploring the usage and the accessories that come together. But the body of the camera definitely feels better compared to Canon 400D, which I happened to try out during a camera fair about a month ago.

I am now charging up the battery and hopefully can try out the camera tonight or tomorrow. So be prepared for some pretty shots! ;)

P/S: In case you are wondering, I shot these photos using my brother’s camera and my old camera. :D
