Pet Project: huey&wah @ Etsy

Most people I know are already back at work now, but I’m still in the middle of all the holiday mood – mainly because I’m leaving for Kelantan in a few days time and really don’t feel like starting anything and then having to come back and finish. Plus the terrible weather and the terrible headache don’t help either.
But I did work on some administrative work and paperwork. I’ve done upgrading and organising our Flickr Pro account (add us if you are there!), worked on the new Team Etsy Malaysia blog (link to reveal when we are done), and am about to attack accounts for tax filing this year. Someone wish me luck!
Ever since we came back from Kelantan last weekend, Wah has been, well, let’s just say that his holiday wasn’t over yet and it’s like all he ever wanted to do was sleeping, eating, playing FishVille on Facebook (which according to him, was for the sake of his nieces and nephews), reading books, watching movies, and occasionally using his brain to think of our next plan.
I’m not complaining but it’s so hard to get him up to work. If you know how it feels to get an 8-year-old up to go to school after the holiday, you’ll understand how I feel. I swear if I could, I’ll do EVERYTHING myself. I mean, come on, those banners were there since three weeks ago, and they are still there! What about our targets? What about the new supplies coming in next week? Huh? Huh?
But. Someone woke up and decided that he’ll start working today. Phew.
P/S: Yes we are quite poor and sometimes we work on the floor, sitting on our beloved cutting mat. That’s why we need to get ourselves a workshop.
I had to skip last week’s hunt due to my domain and hosting issue. I can’t wait to see everyone’s laziness this week! :D
My late Spitz mix, Snow White, was very lazy during the last few years of her life. You normally can’t find her running in the garden. Most of the time she was either sleeping, or just laying under one of our cars, doing nothing. She was much like an old lady – well, she was an old lady. :)
This was taken before we moved to our new house. That’s one of her favourite sleeping postures. I guess the wall and floor did cool her down under the hot weather. :D

P/S: On the side note, my iMac is still not back yet. The parts delivered DOA (dead-on-arrival), kononnya… It’s really killing me waiting for my work to get done on my humble little iBook! >.<
P/S II: Oh and I noticed that so many hunters thought Snow White was a cat! No no no she was a dog. :D A lazy dog! :D
I have been wanting to try this ever since I read about a similar post somewhere on a lazy recipe blog and on Shu-Yin’s blog. But I never had a good chance until last Friday…
I was all alone at home. Everyone was out and away and won’t be back until evening. I couldn’t believe that I still enjoy so much of the quiet time that I have alone. I had the whole house! :D
When it was about lunch time, I started looking for some possibly good ingredients for my Lazy Girl Pizza. I settled with some Taiwan sausages and mixed vege.
So as the name suggests, it’s supposed to be lazy. Lazy = easy. First layer, tomato sauce/ketchup. Then place the sliced Taiwan sausages and mixed vege nicely and evenly on top. You can use any other suitable ingredients that you have in hand. Think about what Pizza Hut does. Tuna, beef, bacon, chicken… you name it!
Next, as I don’t have any cheese at home, I tried putting mayonnaise on the last layer instead.
Put in the oven, bake for a good 10-15 minutes at around 200℃. And you’ll have this!
I wanted to take a clearer photo but my camera’s battery went flat at this time, so did my tummy. :D Believe it or not, it was actually very yummy! A bit too sour at the end, I think I put too much of ketchup but I think it’s OK and this will be one of my favourite lazy recipes from now on. :D
I’m pretty sure my cholesterol level will go HIGH UP if I continue to have these for supper…
‘Milky Prawn’, or I don’t really know how to name it in English. In Mandarin it’s 奶油虾 . Super yummy!
‘Deep Fried Crab with Salty Egg’, which I also don’t know the exact name. :P Yummy too but I got very tired trying to get the crab meat, and this is just one of the few pieces I had. @.@
My brother and sis-in-law got this for me for supper last night, just at the right moment when I was hungry and hoping that someone will get me something really YUMMY! :D
And then I wish I could sleep or laze around like this everyday…
:D DARL is still not around and I’m still hangng around working like mad :D
