A Much Needed Break.

Stocking up.

We will be away from 26 August 2011 – 2 September 2011. Basically Wah will be back in Kelantan for a friend’s wedding + some family time, while I need to catch up with some rest time and recuperate from all the work for the past few weeks months, and also hopefully attack some of the paintings that I’ve been wanting to complete. Since I’ll still be around I’m hoping to schedule some not-so-hectic photo shooting sessions for the new items (YAY!), and do some post office run, although it’s public holiday from 30 August – 1 September 2011 at our place, so it’s possible that I don’t get to ship much anyway. LOL.

In any case, emails will still be attended, so feel free to drop us a sentence or two if needed to. :)

We’re Back!

With lots of work waiting for us to attack. This short break is pretty good for me, and since it’s a rather long break for Wah, it’s definitely good for him too.

We are already back at work today. Packing and shipping orders, working on custom orders, replying emails, stocking up the shop, and planning for our new workspace/studio. Yes. It’s coming soon. :)

In the meantime, here are some photos we took during the short trip, with beautiful places, beach, sun, food, and pretty little animals.

P/S: Happy Valentine’s Day! :)

Until then…

Well, it’s only for a few days, but seems to be a much needed get-away for myself. I know, that workaholic in me ain’t going to stop working as long as there is a computer and a table. OK and scissors, and banners, and cutting mat… bla.

Anyhow. We’ll be back by 14 Feb 2011, just in time to wish everyone Happy Valentine’s Day – oh did I just do that? :D

So do excuse us as we’ll be a little slow in responding to your emails or conversations or tweets or anything until we are back. :)

Getting Out of the Laziness.

Ever since we came back from Kelantan last weekend, Wah has been, well, let’s just say that his holiday wasn’t over yet and it’s like all he ever wanted to do was sleeping, eating, playing FishVille on Facebook (which according to him, was for the sake of his nieces and nephews), reading books, watching movies, and occasionally using his brain to think of our next plan.

I’m not complaining but it’s so hard to get him up to work. If you know how it feels to get an 8-year-old up to go to school after the holiday, you’ll understand how I feel. I swear if I could, I’ll do EVERYTHING myself. I mean, come on, those banners were there since three weeks ago, and they are still there! What about our targets? What about the new supplies coming in next week? Huh? Huh?

But. Someone woke up and decided that he’ll start working today. Phew.

P/S: Yes we are quite poor and sometimes we work on the floor, sitting on our beloved cutting mat. That’s why we need to get ourselves a workshop.
