So as mentioned, I have been wanting to cut my hair short. I wanted a real short one, but was also open for suggestions. And I was really satisfied that I managed to drag along the guy who didn’t want to cut or trim his hair for almost half a year to go and have a hair cut with me! Ho Ho Ho!!! And of course, this didn’t come easily. I’ll have to give him a 5-minute massage session everyday until his hair is long again… @.@
I was looking forward to see my regular hairdresser near my place. I trust him a lot. He has been very helpful in explaining the pros and cons of different hairstyles to me, as well as recommending those that might suit me. I drove to the shop today after work just to find out that it was under renovation and will only reopen on 1 September 08!!! Arrggghhh!!!
So after some discussions with darl, we’ve finally decided to try a shop recommended by my cousin, Shu-Yin’s friends. I told the girl – I can’t help to categorise her as a ‘girl’. I mean, she looks so young! – that I want something short and easy to manage. She suggested bob. I’m fine, as long as it’s short and easy to manage.
The whole session took us slightly more than an hour. By the time we finished, it was already over their closing hour. And I really appreciated that as both the girl and the hairdresser who handled darl were very professional during the whole session. They didn’t rush for time. Instead they looked into every detail to make sure everything was at least close to perfect. And they were really friendly.
So here goes our haircut. :)
Don’t I look so much younger? Doesn’t he look so much ‘fresher’? lol.
And then we started playing with the Photo Booth on darl’s MacBook. lol.
OK now you know how I look like. Please say that I look really young and pretty. lol.
