Home Sweet Home.

Instagram Photo

Yesterday we sent my grandma’s dog, KayKay for her spaying appointment. Despite all the oh-she-might-jump-everywhere-in-the-car and oh-she-might-bite worries from my grandma, KayKay was totally a sweetheart and made no fuss throughout the trip. When we picked her up this morning, the vet’s assistant told me that she did snap a bit but I’ve heard this is her way when she’s afraid – which is also something that I’m planning to work with her soon.

She was totally happy when she got home. Finished her power soup+rice and slept her way to la-la-land.

Treasure Hunt!

My parents have been trying to clean up my late grandma’s place for some renovation. Wah joined them earlier today to help move the heavier items out. We knew that place is a treasure itself, but Wah got totally excited and started to pick things out, instead of pack them up.

I’m trying not to drop by unless I need to, otherwise I’ll be picking up more. Among the things that he picked up are like a carrier-thingy my dad made when I was a kid, a totally vintage abacus (both shown in the photo above), and a totally vintage typewriter. My parents said they also kept two grandfather’s clocks (!!!), two old world maps, and some other stuffs like a vintage vacuum cleaner (OMG!), athough they aren’t sure what they are going to do with that vacuum cleaner.

Goodbye.

It poured so heavily the moment we sent grandma off. And then stopped when we were done.

It’s probably the best way to say goodbye.

All's Well That Ends Well

While the internet was away for a few days, grandma left. She was so peaceful that I almost forgot, she actually left.

At the same time, a lot to work on for a deadline on this Sunday. Until the funeral is over, I might just be M.I.A.
