And So We Were Featured… And I Did Something New!

I was checking the Google Analytics for our Etsy shop and found out that we were featured on this local e-mag, emmagem.com, here! It was really a surprised – I don’t normally check our statistic (you know, the busyness and bla bla bla…) and was really honoured. Check out the feature and their cool e-mag at the link above. :)

And although it was a Saturday and I was trying to get things done for a meeting at work on Monday, I couldn’t help to sneak out most of the time to get info on my new toy – the melt & pour soap. I love the idea that I can skip all the cold process with lye and still make a soap that looks so yummy! Teehee. This could really be a quick fix when I crave to make something!

Darl joined in the fun and couldn’t stop stirring the soap and caused bubbles at the end. -.- I wanted to add some goat’s milk but had only cow’s milk in the fridge instead. Added kelp powder, but forgot to pre-mix before adding in, so the colour isn’t really green. LOL!

This is what we have. A bar of DIY soap loaded with cow’s milk, kelp powder, and real rolled oat for scrubbing. Tried last night and it felt sooooo good to shower with the soap we made ourselves!

And then I also made some super easy truffles. LOL! I saw an incredibly yummy link on Facebook the other day and couldn’t help thinking of it. I seemed easy. I googled around and found another one which was even easier. And the best part was, I could used up the condensed milk I had in the fridge since I made my cheesecake! Yay!

This is what I made. I didn’t know how big to make and ended up having them a little too big for a bite. I told my family these are my version of Ferrero Rochelle. LOL! If you are thinking of making these (which is really, super easy!), try looking for a recipe using cream cheese. I believe that should taste even better. You can then add your choice of liquor in them. Really good for an afternoon snack!

Featured For The V-Day.

And for the upcoming lovingly Valentine’s Day, special thanks to Delia who has featured our new ‘You Complete My Heart’ Couple-T in buter yellow. :)

A few months ago I stumbled upon Etsy and found the site really awesome. It features sellers from all around the world, and the best part is, it features handmade products! There are thousands and thousands of great artists and artisans all over the world and their unique little arts are being sold there. I really like the site and I spent hours everyday browsing through the newly listen items. LOL.

I then talked to DARL and we decided to try listing some of our new handmade stuffs there, since not all of our stuffs are handmade. While honestly speaking, I don’t really know how the site work even until now, it’s so much neater then eBay and you really feel it more ‘humane’ in a way or another. And one day, just a few hours after we listed our pendants, we received an email:
