Surprise!

Got a surprise package in the mail today – from Etsy! I was all blur when Wah asked me why Etsy sent us a package and thought it was the DVD from HGTV. Turned out it’s from Morgan and the Etsy Teams admin, as we were one of the beta testers for the new Etsy Teams on Etsy.

There is this lovely limited edition letterpress 2011 wall calendar from dutchdoor. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a letterpress print and this arrived just at the right moment. :) And then there is a big organic cotton tote from ECOBAGS. And then there is a wood bear keychain from peppersprouts. And then a vegan lip balm, a few button pins and stickers from Etsy. AND THEN, a handwritten note from Morgan, the Etsy Teams admin.

I’m so loving this awesome surprise! Thank you so much Morgan! :)

A Proud EcoEtsy Member!

About a week back we’ve finally decided to join  a team on Etsy. A team that I’ve always wanted to join, mainly because of what they do. They are a group of Etsy sellers dedicated to reducing, reusing, and recycling. It doesn’t always have to be the product itself, but packaging means a lot too. That makes a lot of sense to us. I’ve always had the tendency of using a lot of packing materials (like used craft papers, bubble mailer, etc.) mainly because we always ship to overseas, like U.S or the European countries, and I always try to pack more – I mean, it’s a long way to go, so just in case. :D

I’m hoping that I can learn some tips and tricks on reducing, reusing, and recycling packaging materials and other areas from the members. If possible, I’d like to contribute a bit here and there too. :) Check out the Eco Etsy Street Team Blog here and check out the new badge on my sidebar. :)

On the side note, me and a few other Malaysian Etsians are also thinking of starting our own local team. Everything is still in progress but hopefully we can get it up soon. :)
