Pooch Green Steps: Day 1.

So as promised, this will be day one of our daily green steps for year 2010. To start off the year, we did something to the place where the dogs are staying.

During this time of the year, the place where the dogs are staying is pretty hot during the day. The sun is covering the place almost directly, and left only a little spot for them to lay around. Xiao Bi is particularly affected due to her nature as a Golden Retriever. This afternoon, we took out some used laminated-paper-type outdoor banners from a friend and tie them up to cover the place. The place immediately turned cool and cozy! Who needs those plastic curtain blind from the store? ;)

And here are wishes from both the dogs for the new year! :)

As We Approach the End of The Week.

This week has been pretty awesome for us. I finally tendered my resignation letter, after all the hesitation and all. True enough it was a relief. Not that I didn’t like my day job, it’s just that with our little business over here, I couldn’t really focus on what I was doing and I felt really bad for that. So I decided to end my apparently-already-very-short-lived day job and back to do what I love most. It’s a little earlier than scheduled, but oh well.

Some time in the middle of the week when I was at work, I received a surprise from a convo on Etsy. It was an invitation for a possible nation-wide media exposure, which I have totally no idea how it got to us! Both of us couldn’t stop smiling since the day! LOL! We submitted all requested info on the evening itself, now fingers crossed. It should be on a weekend. I’ll share it once I found out when. :)

So with all the busy schedule, we’ve finally listed something on Etsy.

These Will Turn Out Really Great…

Two pieces of banner cut out for the MacBook sleeves. More to go! :)

And the Banners Turned Out To Be…

Yeap! Sleeve cases for MacBook and MacBook Pro 13-inch! :D

One of them is already up in our Etsy shop. The others will be up hopefully these few days, after all the photo shooting sessions. Collected a few more really pretty banners from a friend yesterday and woohoo more to go!

P/S: Can’t wait for the long weekend coming this week so we can do more!

I Need To Love Myself, Better.

Sorry that I haven’t been updating blog for, really a while, again.

This life is getting more hectic as the holiday season approaches. Tons of work to settle at my work place, and more to settle in our little business. I have been working more than 12 hours a day for about 2 weeks now, and I can tell you, it’s tiring. LOL!

Sometime in the middle of the week I grabbed some lamb shoulders at the supermarket and came back pan-frying them as dinner for me and Wah. I wanted to get some garlic spread for garlic bread but for that small tub, it was really expensive. I ended up chopping up some fresh garlic in the kitchen and added them into a cheap butter in the fridge, spread on slices of bread and toasted them in oven. Results? Awesome. Really, who need those expensive little tubs? :P Oh and the lamb shoulders came out really great. One of our best meals at about RM10 for 2 only! ;)

I’m currently tempting to take a few days off from work. No emails and calls, so I could concentrate resting. I want more lamb shoulders – LOL! I want more sleep. I want more of my-time.

Wah made this after being suggested by a great buyer – which also reminds us, we haven’t been updating the iPhone case series for a while. More work to get done!
