I have recently gone back to this local post office near my place for all our shipping needs. I used to frequent this post office but there was an officer that I wasn’t really comfortable dealing with. I resolved by going to another one several months ago and I loved the officers there. The only problem is that it’s located at one of the busier areas of town and the place is always packed, with cars.
I went back to this post office several weeks ago, and was surprised to be greeted by new officers. And ever since the day I went back, I’ve been paying attention to the place, more than I should. It’s a two-storey bungalow, on a land big enough with even chickens wandering around looking for food. I mean, chickens. REAL CHICKENS.
Now if only this place can be our studio/workshop, I’ll have the ground floor renovated as our primary working area, with sewing area and banner cutting area. Upstairs, of course, will be rooms and living area, and perhaps a brainstorming room. Oh and did I mention that they have sort of a separate building at the back, which can really turn into a very neat kitchen or cafe, and a storeroom big enough to store all our banners, and perhaps a study room or something? And the yard. Oh my. The dogs will be extremely happy running around with the chickens, and I can probably even start my dream of fostering dogs and cats that are waiting for adoption. Urgh! Imagine how many new friends the dogs will have!
Yeah. If only.
While I keep on dreaming, please drop by here and vote for us. This will really make us one step closer to my dream studio/workshop. :)
About 2 weeks ago, I was in London. I couldn’t recognise the building and the environment but I was pretty sure that I was in London – except that it was a dream. :)
The dream was very real. I remember following a whole group of old friends to a hotel in London, just to find out that I’ve lost all my luggage. I couldn’t check-in to the hotel without an ID, and none of the people there could help me. A few unknown strangers were facing the same situation as I was.
And then I finally decided to sleep at the hotel lobby since it was already late night. Just when I got myself all ready for a nap, it was already morning and people came lining up picking up their breakfast.
And then I woke up. LOL!
I’m not sure why I had this dream. Why London, and why without luggage. But the dream was very real. And I could still remember some details even until now. Not very common for a dream – oh and I think this dream has colours!
So as I was saying, my mum talked me into making a little business out of the muffins that I’ve been making. Cool? Fun? Not so sure now. But luckily I’m still enjoying the process of making muffins. The only thing that I don’t like is… the washing after preparing. Perhaps a dish washer will help… anyone listening? :P
So far we’ve got about 9 of the more commonly accepted and yummy proof – and healthy – flavours ready for the business. Oh when I said business, did I mention that I’m only going to bake 12 muffins a day, and not more than 5 days a week? LOL! That’s really a casual business for me. :D
But my mum and brother (and perhaps me!) have already been dreaming all the way to big muffin business. Owning a shop, serving a wide variety of muffins, and perhaps other yummy treats like scones, and of course coffee. We have also casually appointed the unofficial muffin professional a.k.a darl as our coffee brewer – in dreamland. He makes really nice coffee. :)
Anyway, dream aside. I’m working on the packaging and stuffs and everything should be ready by next week. I hope this can be a really relaxing and casual thing for me coz seriously, I don’t want too much of pressure from something that I truly enjoy.
Homemade muffins… anyone? :)
P/S: I’m considering merging both my blogs (nottypooch.com/mydogdiary) since my identity is no longer a secret (LOL!) and managing 2 blogs can be tedious at times. I’ll announce if I really do merge them up. Till then, happy listening! :)
