Three Big Men.

Instagram Photo

Some time last week I helped organising a food donation for 3 rescuers running 2 private dog shelters in Penang. Many of my friends responded and earlier this week, we managed to use the fund to purchase a total of 220kg of rice and 40kg of kibbles and send to them. You wouldn’t believe how strong was the girl working at the rice shop. She lifted ALL the rice into the car on her own. ON HER OWN. I had tiny little problem lifting even a pack.

And then I got a little worried on the weight and wondered if it was too heavy. Wah broke down the calculation and said it’s just like having three big men in the car. :D

To those who have responded, thank you very much. This is not just from the rescuers and the dogs, it’s also from me. Thanks for supporting and believing in what I do. :)

GEC Donation: Jul-Aug 2011.

So as mentioned, this would be our last contribution to GEC as our collaboration has ended. Remember, though, you can always learn about what they do and contribute to their work here.

GEC Donation: Apr-June 2011.

Time for a little update! Our collaboration with GEC will come to an end by the end of next month (August 2011) – OMG time flies! We’ll be updating our last contribution once it ends.

It’s been nice working with the people at GEC, but it’s time to move on. You can continue to find out more and contribute to the wonderful work they are doing here.

GEC Donation: Jan-Mar 2011.

This update is a little late, due to some bank-in issue we encountered when trying to bank in the cheque. Anyhow, it’s done now. :)

We obviously didn’t do that well for the last quarter, mainly due to the moving of our new workstation. Thank you if you have helped us donated! :)

Plenty of new pieces for GEC have been prepared and now waiting for the next photo shooting session. I’m hoping to get them done within the next few days.

GEC Donation: Oct-Dec 2010.

Here’s how we have done for the last quarter. The total to donate is RM140.70, but we’ve rounded up to RM150.00. Hopefully more to come! :)
