Rambutans!

With all the yellow-related news and activities in our country today, we hope no one was hurt and people’s voice can be heard and attended to.

Here at home, Wah decided to give the dogs rambutans this evening. Being the one who always pick up weird stuffs from the floor and eat, Coco was obviously very careful of the food we gave her. Xiao Bi, on the other hand, swallowed every single one, fought for more, and even learned to peel the fruit herself.

Off to the Beach!

See how one is pulling towards the sea, and another towards the land? :D

It’s been almost a year since we last took the dogs to the beach. For some reason Wah decided to do it today so we got ourselves and the dogs ready late afternoon. It was Coco’s second trip to the beach and she was doing way better than her first trip. Although she was still quite reluctant to get into the water, but she actually went in after numerous invitations from Xiao Bi. Meaning Xiao Bi tried to drag her in by pulling her ears. And this fella actually swam!

And then Xiao Bi started to act TOTALLY like a Golden Retriever by picking up something whenever she returned from the water. Like, you know, retrieving something, including dried leaves and rubbish like cloth. And at one point she actually picked up part of her leash it her mouth when swimming back. :D

It was totally a fun trip. Not only for them, but for us too. Sun, sea, and fresh air. What could be better? :)

See more of their photos at the beach here, including Xiao Bi rolling over everywhere to ease her itchy ear, and Coco squatting just before the water, like she was going to poo.

The Ridiculously Hot Weather.

It’s been so ridiculously hot lately. So hot that it’s getting easier to get a migraine on a daily basis. And then I realised the dogs must be feeling the same too, if not worse. I mean, come on, one of them has got long fur and another one is black!

We decided to make a trip to the store to get a new swimming pool for the dogs today. The one that I got for Xiao Bi long ago was eaten up by Coco when she was still a puppy. Just so you know, that crazy dog digests everything.

Xiao Bi hasn’t been in a pool for quite a while now and she wasn’t quite sure what to do, though she was definitely having fun walking in and out of it. Coco, as you can see in the photo, was paranoid of the whole idea and did not move at all when she was in the pool. Like, totally stoned.

Evening Run!

Wah has been running with the dogs in the evening when it’s not raining. The dogs totally love the session. And it’s always two times for Xiao Bi and one time for Coco. Imagine how much energy has been storing in her fat body.

In the Meantime.

While I pick up on blogging again, Xiao Bi and Coco remain the best buddies a.k.a partners in crime in all dog matters. No joke. They insist to go on walks together, eat together, play together, and sleep together.
