Stronger than Terminator

I first learned about FURminator from dooce®. Since both the dogs are always shedding and the ordinary brush that we’ve got couldn’t do much to help, I decided to get one. Special thanks to Alex who flew it back all the way from the U.S. Luckily it does its job pretty well, totally keeping us from becoming fur-human after we have direct physical contact with the dogs – plus the dogs seem to really like it. Otherwise, with that price, Wah will just continue to point at my nose repeatedly saying that it’s just a fancy brush with a fancy name.

So it’s Genetic.

Just observing.

Yesterday I happened to talk to the uncle at the pet supply shop that we go regularly. We adopted Coco from his neighbour slightly more than two years ago. Apparently just like Coco, all her family members were known for some sort of crazy-nerve thingy. Now that sure explains a lot. They probably only have similar amount of brain tissues in their heads that they merely act on their instincts.

Monkey Business.

Can you see? That monkey has a cute look!

The monkeys have been visiting the neighbourhood regularly lately because there are rambutans in the neighbour’s yard. I’m happy to see them hanging around, but not the dogs. Their frequent visits means hours and hours and hours of excessive barking from Xiao Bi and Coco, which, only Wah is capable of shutting them up.

The other day while trying to make them shut up, Wah took a pic of the visitor. Apparently he/she has a very cute-looking face! And according to Wah, this drama king/queen made that OMG-THERE-IS-A-CAMERA-POINTING-AT-ME look when he was, of course, pointing the camera at him/her. I think the dogs and the monkeys should totally be friends. I mean, they are all dramas!

Another Vet Visit with KayKay

So this fella vomit in the car today. Eeek!

We brought KayKay to the vet again for a follow up. She went hiding behind the chairs when we were picking her up at my grandma’s place. Poor thing must have thought she’d be cut open again.

Unlike her first trip, she vomited in the car on our way there this round, and drooled a pool on our way back. Lots of cleaning is much needed for the car!

Home Sweet Home.

Yesterday we sent my grandma’s dog, KayKay for her spaying appointment. Despite all the oh-she-might-jump-everywhere-in-the-car and oh-she-might-bite worries from my grandma, KayKay was totally a sweetheart and made no fuss throughout the trip. When we picked her up this morning, the vet’s assistant told me that she did snap a bit but I’ve heard this is her way when she’s afraid – which is also something that I’m planning to work with her soon.

She was totally happy when she got home. Finished her power soup+rice and slept her way to la-la-land.
