About a month ago when I decided to give Scooby, the stray dog who has been hanging around at my grandma’s place for years a good bath, groomer Jasmin came into rescue. After his first bath and injection, the task came to us – which means me and Wah, to continue bathing him to help his skin condition. At that time he was loosing fur all over his body. Jasmin told me that it was mange.
Slightly over a month later, as you can see, he has got new fur growing on his back!
He has also grown into very manja, whining for attention every time he sees anyone of us. I’ve also included some higher quality dog food into his diet, hopefully will help him to recover faster. Speaking of which, this fella eats a lot. Like, A LOT.
For a few weeks, I haven’t been feeling very good. Not sick, just not the tip-top condition that I’d love to be at.
Some time last week my dad went through a expensive detoxing programme. I’m not sure how he felt but I’m super interested to get myself cleaned. For over a month I’ve been eating and eating and eating all sorts of food and that certainly didn’t make me feel very good. After some googling around, I decided to settle with a simple yet yummy 1 or 2 days diet. Well, it’s better to have at least 2 days but I know myself very well that I MAY NOT be able to hold for 2 days. Hehe.
And Was is interested to join too. So today, and perhaps tomorrow too, we’re on our very own detoxing programme.
And the recipe?
Simple. Apples and water throughout the day. As for dinner, brown rice, grilled salmon and steamed vege with a little healthy dressing if you’d like to. Easy enough huh?
So as of now, detoxing still in progress. :)
As of today, I’m officially approximately 2kg heavier than I was for the past 5-6 years! If you ask me, yes, I have been trying to gain weight since don’t know when. lol.
During Chinese New Year this year, I finally noticed that I could gain some weight by eating and sitting in front of the tv for a continuos one week. Seriously continous one week. Not much walking, not much going out, not much working. Just eat, sit, sleep, and eat, sit sleep. I gained about 1kg during that week but of course it didn’t stay there for long. And btw, that week itself made me feel like killing myself. lol.
So for the next few months, I’ve got myself into more suppers and tea time breaks. Sometimes when I got extra $$$ I went for buffets. I’ve been eating and eating and eating. If you ask me why would I wanna gain that 2kg, I’d tell you, it’s really painful when you wanna buy yourself a pair of pants or jeans but everything out there is just too big for you!
So now I have that extra 2kg. The next task will be to stretch or exercise a bit to get my body firmer. lol. And by then I hope my pocket is ready for some good shopping!
Note to self: No I can’t gain more than 2kg. With my height, I’ll turn into a rolling ball! lol.
