I have actually blogged about this in my personal blog but haven’t really mentioned about it here. My family talked me into baking muffins daily as a casual business – since I love it so much. It’s really a casual one, we sell only like 10 muffins per day, LOL! But I’m glad that in less than a week, we have received 2 special order. :)

Taken on the first day of our muffin business. :) I’m actually testing the poloroid effect done by this new application, Poladroid, that I found on someone’s blog. Kinda fun. :)
P/S: These muffins are done using the basic ingredients listed on our Perfect Muffin Tee. So yeap the ingredients are valid and they are yummy. :)
So as I was saying, my mum talked me into making a little business out of the muffins that I’ve been making. Cool? Fun? Not so sure now. But luckily I’m still enjoying the process of making muffins. The only thing that I don’t like is… the washing after preparing. Perhaps a dish washer will help… anyone listening? :P
So far we’ve got about 9 of the more commonly accepted and yummy proof – and healthy – flavours ready for the business. Oh when I said business, did I mention that I’m only going to bake 12 muffins a day, and not more than 5 days a week? LOL! That’s really a casual business for me. :D
But my mum and brother (and perhaps me!) have already been dreaming all the way to big muffin business. Owning a shop, serving a wide variety of muffins, and perhaps other yummy treats like scones, and of course coffee. We have also casually appointed the unofficial muffin professional a.k.a darl as our coffee brewer – in dreamland. He makes really nice coffee. :)
Anyway, dream aside. I’m working on the packaging and stuffs and everything should be ready by next week. I hope this can be a really relaxing and casual thing for me coz seriously, I don’t want too much of pressure from something that I truly enjoy.
Homemade muffins… anyone? :)
P/S: I’m considering merging both my blogs (nottypooch.com/mydogdiary) since my identity is no longer a secret (LOL!) and managing 2 blogs can be tedious at times. I’ll announce if I really do merge them up. Till then, happy listening! :)
I’ve been having an extremely hectic schedule for the past two weeks. So hectic that I can barely have my own time to sit down and think about what had happened.
But I did notice a little change that is about to take place. A change that I’ve been hoping for, and looking forward to. I’m not 100% sure if it’s going to work out this time, but I’m more than eager to have it turn out to be true.
I’ve been doing some reviews and plannings for my little business project lately. Keeping up with all the work with only my two hands is really difficult but I’m seeing some other possibilities now as things go by. Ways and possibilites to make things better.
Ah… it feels so good when you suddenly can feel the changes that are about to take place, after being idle for a while. :)
The stupid uncomfy and sickness made me really out these few days. Out of mood, out of ideas, out of inspirations. Although I’m actually much better now but I’m still more like a walking zombie. Maybe I’ve got addicted to it… lol.
Anyway, while I was working on some other projects and got bored yesterday, I’ve made this funky, cool, modern keyring/charm.

I’m not sure why but I kinda got hooked to the process of doing this little thing and thought maybe I’ll just add them into my little business project. Oh and before I forget, these are upcycled stuffs made out of recycled stuffs. lol.
Anyway, everything has been slow lately. Ideas, inspirations, work, and most importantly, sales!!! Arrrggghhh. I think I should just add more fun to myself instead of worrying too much about the money. *yeah right* :P
P/S: Notice the way I’m talking (typing) that is so not-me? Seriously, I’m a walking zombie. >.<
OK as the title reads, I’m seriously PISSED OFF now. I might not know what I’m writing (or typing).
If you are reading this, you’ll know that I’m addressing this to you. As a friend, I’m more than glad to give a win-win situation for both our businesses. I’m glad to put you in the priority list when I’m looking for raw materials for my little business. And yes although I’m running a little business I’d like to keep my words to my customers. I fully understand how a customer will ditch a business that cannot keep their promises, especially to deliver the goods ON TIME!
Now back to you, friend. If you can’t deliver what we’ve ordered on time, PLEASE don’t tell me that you can. Please don’t tell me that you are going to start working on it tomorrow, and only let me know 3 days later that you haven’t even started yet – and that’s only after numerous unanswered phone calls from us! And I seriously couldn’t understand why this cycle has to repeat again and again and again for, like, 3 times for every order that we’ve made!
We made promises to customers based on your information. It may not be crucial for you to build a reputation for your business (which I don’t understand why) but it is crucial for mine!
And this is not the first time you did this to us. If you remember, our first experience was equally bad as well. I do not want to spoil our friendship that’s why I don’t normally be the one calling you, but seriously, you really piss me off.
Updates on 11 June 08: Yeah I’m still pissed but I think it’s just not worth wasting my emotions on this. What comes around goes around.
