Pet Project: huey&wah @ Etsy
|
This week is all about stocking up (seriously, what is new?), and picking up some supplies. Might just squeeze in some time for my pet project and some other experiments. And also marshmallow and cookie making with little niece. Oh my. It’s easy to know why I haven’t been resting well when I list everything out.

To make photo shooting easier, and of course to make the workstation more ‘breathable’, we’ve created a little corner of greens with some plants. Mostly aloe vera though, because this thing tends to grow like nobody’s business. Let me know if you want some, I’ll be happy to ‘rehome’ them too. I’m working on transplanting some from my house to the corner, hopefully soon.
And on the side note, I just realised that almost all wallets that we’ve created this round are in greens – different shades of green! Hope this doesn’t make anyone go all green-sick. :P

April is by far the craziest month we’ve had since not-sure-when. From family matters to work and the voluntary work, it feels like we haven’t stopped since we started moving into the new workspace. Although we really do enjoy what we do, but personally, the hectic schedule is taking over all my evening rest hours and weekends. Weekends! Definitely need to readjust and manage my time a little better now.
We managed to finalise and work out the new series of bifold last week, and have started to list them in our Etsy shop. They now have a more refined structure and card slots – and still at the same price. We only have 3 of the previous version left and have moved them to the CLEARANCE section. Grab them if you like them! :)
It’s already past midnight but both Wah and I are still working for one last batch of products and packing. We’re leaving for K.L tomorrow, for about a week – maybe 2 weeks for Wah, until Crafty Art Market on 30 April 2011. We were invited to be part of All Asia Broadcast Centre (ASTRO)’s internal Earth Day Initiative starting from 18 April 2011, and will be there for 3-5 days.
In the meantime, we’ve given NottyPooch’s bifold a facelift but I don’t have any photos to show you at this time. LOL. Maybe when we are there I can take a better photo or something… we’ll see. :)
This week has been pretty awesome for us. I finally tendered my resignation letter, after all the hesitation and all. True enough it was a relief. Not that I didn’t like my day job, it’s just that with our little business over here, I couldn’t really focus on what I was doing and I felt really bad for that. So I decided to end my apparently-already-very-short-lived day job and back to do what I love most. It’s a little earlier than scheduled, but oh well.
Some time in the middle of the week when I was at work, I received a surprise from a convo on Etsy. It was an invitation for a possible nation-wide media exposure, which I have totally no idea how it got to us! Both of us couldn’t stop smiling since the day! LOL! We submitted all requested info on the evening itself, now fingers crossed. It should be on a weekend. I’ll share it once I found out when. :)
So with all the busy schedule, we’ve finally listed something on Etsy.
Eco Recycled Billboard Banner Bifold No. 13. Available here on our Etsy shop.
