The weather these days is making my life really difficult. Not to mention the monkeys who come on a daily basis for the rambutans at the neighbours – it’s causing Xiao Bi to bark non-stop every time.
**********
Sometimes it’s really easy to realise that you are just not as important for someone anymore. Or is this only true for the girls? You know, the instinct-thingy. You’ll start to realise that, that someone just couldn’t care how you feel and what you want. You’ll start to realise that, that someone would even start to ignore the things that he/she has ‘promised’. You’ll start to realise that there wasn’t even an offer to patch things up. And there goes the importance.
I’ve always thought that I’ve had a very bad experience on how a relationship ended. But now when I looked back, I’d laugh at myself because the signs were so obvious but I just chose to ignore. Sometimes being too confidence in oneself, and believing that you can make anything happen is a little too dumb. I try to remind myself everyday now.

The fact that Xiao Bi is still barking at the monkeys like nobody’s business is really killing me. @.@
One fine afternoon last week, Xiao Bi started barking all of a sudden – and it was those type of aggressive-barking. She has been behaving better ever since we started her rehabilitation and doesn’t bark so much nowadays. So as I was wondering what was happening and looking out of the window, I saw this…

It’s him again!
Some time last year he was also wandering in my neighbour’s garden and caused the dogs to bark like mad. I guess he just likes to pay us a visit once in a while – or maybe once a year… Hmmm… :)
It was slightly over midnight.
The neighbour’s Chihuahua was barking non-stop. Not very fierce-type of barking but was non-stop. This little fella used to bark a lot until Xiao Bi came, whom, obviously has been barking more than her.
During normal days, they are separated by a distance of grass in between them, since the little fella seldom got herself a chance to run out of her back yard territory. They see each other everyday, but they seldom play together. Sometimes they like to ‘show-off’ to another like when one of them got their dinner earlier or something like that. Yeah weird dogs, but that’s what they do. :/
Strange thing, when the Chihuahua was barking non-stop, Xiao Bi wasn’t making any noise at all. That, of course, didn’t sound very much like her. So I said to darl:
“Can you look out from the window, check and see why is the Chihuahua barking but not Bi?”
Darl looked down and sat back, without saying any word.
“What is it that she is barking at?”
“Xiao Bi lo.”
“Uh? Then where is Xiao Bi?”
“Lazing herself just right opposite the Chihuahua.”
-.-
I am working today and I am extremely sleepy now. Yeah EXTREMELY.
Special thanks to the stupid dog back door. He/She is back in action again since a few days ago, barking non-stop from around 4-5 AM onwards. The most irritating thing is that the owner did nothing about it, and I am very sure some stupid fella in the house was awake, as the light was on and I heard noises.
I got irritated after the stupid dog worked so hard for an hour or so and yelled out of the window:
“SHUT UP!!!”
I shouted so loud to make sure the owner heard it. In fact I shouted a few times. And still no one came out of the house and did something to the stupid dog. Even the maid from the neighbour who has to wake up very early everyday looked at me from downstairs.
What an inconsiderate neighbour I am having. Stupid owner with stupid dog.
The dog back door is back in action!
Now he/she starts barking at around 4 AM everyday. I am not sure how she did it but it’s like she has her own alarm clock that wakes her up every morning to do her task. It has been like this for almost a week. Which also means, I haven’t been sleeping well for almost a week!
He/She trains me to wake up at around 5 AM – after she continuously barks for about an hour – and shout out from my room:
“SHUT UP!!!”
Sometimes he/she would follow the instruction and shut up until about 7:30 AM, when she decided to get back in action again. But sometimes, he/she would probably feel that his/her job wasn’t done yet, and continue barking, barking, and barking, until maybe, 8 AM?
I have only heard the owner told the dog to keep quiet during day time, and she was so polite:
“Maple, quiet.”
I think she said ‘Maple’. I am very sure if I were the dog, I would have bullied the owner the same way. Only that I would make sure I won’t get poisoned by the neighbours.
This morning when he/she was barking non-stop again, I walked to the window and snapped this photo. Apparently he/she was talking to arguing with his/her friend standing on the other side of the gate.
