Here Goes!

The recipe of my parents’ famous butter cookies!

What you’ll need:

250g butter, room temparature

100g icing sugar

300g flour

Approx. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 180-200 degrees C.

2. Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl.

3. Cream butter and icing sugar with an electric mixer until white and fluffy.

4. Fold in the flour mixture

5. Make into the shape(s) you want and place on cookie sheet. Here is the part I like best. We discovered our very own tools-of-the-year – a COOKIE PRESSER! It’s so much fun to play with!

6. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.

7. Last but not least, this is the most important step. Eat as much as you like.

Quick Photo Updates.

Bought a HUGE cutting mat a few days ago and I LOVE it!

Got some really pretty-pinkish-girly banners and urm, I’ve never seen so many pinks around me before! One of the MacBook sleeves is up with the pinks!

And in the meantime, the kitchen is still busy. I still haven’t worked out the recipe in an understandable format…

The First Bread Pudding.

My first bread pudding. Tasted not bad at all – and most importantly, took only about 20 minutes to send this thing to the oven. Easy and yummy! :)

Lemon-y Tangy.

Some time last week I saw one of my customers cum virtual friends on MSN, MiiN, with status related to Lemon Tart. Caught my attention and I messaged her for more info. Co-incidently her recipe was from my favourite baking site, Joy of Baking! :)

I started hunting for ingredients and finally had the chance to make some yesterday evening. Made some mistakes with the shell and ended up having too much filling, and had to resolve making more dough for the shell. It’s supposed to be done with one big tart pan but I resolved using my muffin pan for this. :P

The tart really tasted tangy mainly because of the cream cheese, which, I really like. But my parents prefer something not so tangy. Probably should reduce the amount of cream cheese in it next time. Oh and it tasted superb after putting in the fridge for an hour! :)

Muffins Attack!

I noticed that I’ve been posting about muffins for… OMG continuously 3 posts already! I’m so sorry but the genius here is having such a HUGE muffins attack that she is almost baking everyday! >.<

And for today, we have Chocolate Chips Muffins. I have created a photo album on my Facebook, to show the muffins attack on me and also the chronicles of my muffin-making journey. Check out here. :D
