I couldn’t find any of KLue in Penang earlier this month, and luckily took the opportunity to grab one in Kuala Lumpur last weekend. We were featured – and that cover design is just so my-type! :D Special thanks to Myra for the oh-so-fun write up and inkypots for hooking us up! I stumbled upon modernemotive several months ago, and have been reading it since then. I was first attracted by the very clean, and very neat blog appearance, and being someone who always likes to make our blog cleaner, it immediately caught my eyes. I was then being attracted by the author’s series on This Self-Employed Life. A huge part of my working life has been self-employed, and when I first started reading the series, I was in the middle of having a day job and struggling in between it and my so-called ‘free soul’. A lot of things that the author, Adele, mentioned was exactly how I felt. Some time last week I saw a post on her blog calling for eco-friendly and organic business owners to submit shops for an interview she was going to contribute to an online magazine. As when I submitted ours, it was already too late – damn I know I should check every single blog in the blogroll daily! – but Adele was so kind to offer us the opportunity to be featured in her Green Motive series – ‘a series focused on promoting greener choices both in life and business, as well as showcasing other eco-friendly businesses’. So here goes. We are on one of our favourite blogs, and are very very very much honoured. :)
