Mum’s old friend came visiting yesterday. As usual, little niece a.k.a Chao Chao was shy (or just refused!) to address her as aunty.
When the lady was away, I asked her, ‘Who is that?’ (那个是谁啊?)
Niece, ‘Aunty uh…’ (那个是aunty啊。。。)
Me, ‘Did you call her aunty?’ (你有叫aunty吗?)
Niece, ‘No uh…’ (没有啊。。。)
Me, ‘Why is that so?’ (为什么没有叫aunty啊?)
Niece, ‘…because I have no manners uh…’ (草草没有礼貌啊。。。)
:D
An old friend called up asking for some info. He is a funny guy, and a nice friend too. After discussing the important stuffs, he started the chit-chatting conversation.
Him: So how are you? When are you getting married?
Me: Not yet ler…
Him: How about your boyfriend?
Me: Also not married yet lo.
Him: !@#$%^&*()…
Yeah I know I’m pretty lame at times. :D
10:30 am. Darl still sleeping. Yeah he never wake up early. If I don’t wake him up he will sleep his way to heaven until at least noon. Guaranteed.
Me: Hey you know what? I think we should make pan-fry lamb chop for lunch today. We haven’t done that for really long!
Darl: Mhhmmm…… (sleeping language, meaning, OK.) But it’s going to take some time to prepare.
Me: If you wake up now we can go grab the lamb at the supermarket and make everything on time, you see.
Darl: Mhhmmm……
10:50 am. Still hopelessly rolling on the bed.
Me: Hey! Our anniversary is just around the corner!
Darl: OK, I’ll pan fry some lamb chops for you on the day.
!@#$%^&*(). This is the risk that you’re going to face when your relationship is no longer in the honeymoon-state.

… said the dog.
I caught Xiao Bi tucking herself in between pots and turning her back towards us this afternoon. Sleeping. She never did that before and I really wonder why – you see, Bi, I’m sorry that I forgot to refill your bowl of water this morning but hey, I made it up by giving you a bowl of chicken soup!
Part of my newly accepted job requires me to work with darl. So as we took out some time today to discuss on it, we casually browsed through different websites to find examples and ideas to show each other.
And when we went to OUR VERY OWN WEBSITE…

My Dog ‘Dairy‘. @.@
I’m not sure if anyone notice that but I’m really sorry. Darl is considered completely Chinese-educated (although he does speak and write in English now) and I didn’t check through the work he did on the site.
I mean, seriously, I’m sure our only rebellious Golden Retriever, Xiao Bi, doesn’t produce any dairy products… :P
P/S: Just in case you check the site now and are still seeing ‘Dairy’ instead of ‘Diary, it means he is still too busy to amend it – and NO it still doesn’t mean that we sell dog dairy products. :D
