It’s the second bowl Xiao Bi broke over the last 2 months. I’m pretty sure it was her because she was madly barking at the monkeys in the neighbourhood one morning and suddenly ‘phiang!’, and she sort of quiet down.
The previous one that she has been using for years was very thick and heavy, and there was actually a crack on it because she once almost broke it when she was a pup. It lasted for about 3 years despite the crack. This one, on the other hand, I can tell that it’s very thin and light, and of course, I paid much lesser for it since I couldn’t find anything better and affordable. And of course, it couldn’t even stand a fall.
She has to use a small metal bowl at the moment and obviously hasn’t been very happy about it because it keeps moving when she eats. Learn your lesson, bi*ch.
Except for the dogs, of course.
When things are starting to move in directions that we’ve never thought of or tried before – in a good way, I mean – the dogs are as crazy as ever. One day I found myself stopping Xiao Bi from chewing on some crushed eggshells that I put in some pots, when Coco started throwing the cover of a container into the air on the other side of the yard. And then when I ran over to stop her, Xiao Bi went back chewing on those eggshells again. And then… oh you get the idea.

Photos here showing Xiao Bi chomping on her favourite wheatgrass, and Coco abusing an old and poor water ball.

They eat side by side, play as a team, and sleep close to each other.
On the side note, there was a wound on the right ear of Scooby the dog since the day we started bathing him. I’m not sure where he got it. We initially thought it’d heal on its own but it didn’t. When we were there bathing him 2 weeks ago he was rather disturbed by the wound. So last week, I decided to rinse it with warm sea salt water. Today when we went back for his bathing session, we saw that it’s starting to heal!
A dog from the neighbourhood was wandering near the house this evening, and as usual, the dogs went all crazy. Wah took the opportunity to give them a disciplinary session. They were not allowed to go near the gate and/or display any form of aggressiveness when the dog passed by. Xiao Bi was totally not happy with the session. Speaking of which, did you see that bush of hair growing under her?! Or is it just me?!
