So I was saying there was another reason for me to make the t-shirt yarn balls for the dogs. You know how we’ve always said that Xiao Bi and Coco are just, crazy? Well they are both crazy, but in totally different ways. And Coco’s way is getting annoying lately because SHE CHEWS ON AND EATS EVERYTHING INCLUDING STONES AND HER OWN POO EXCEPT FOR HER OWN TOYS. Seriously, don’t even get me started on how I have to peek on her from the house after her dinner every night so I can quickly yell at her when she finished pooping and turned over intending to eat her poo just because she wouldn’t poo when I was around.
And despite keeping their expensive fancy brush on a shelf almost the height of my shoulder, somehow she still managed to climb up and get it and break it and chew on it and, OH-EHM-GEE!

There are chew marks all over the top part but for now I’m just going to pretend they are not there. Wah is now trying to see if we can fix it (the broken part is to push out the fur) with epoxy and we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see if it works. Until then, anyone still think the dogs are cute? Seriously?

Xiao Bi was very much into balls and play fetch when she was a puppy. But as she grows, she doesn’t really fancy playing that much now. It started when Coco joined in and took away all her balls. Poor thing.
But both of them love t-shirts. Fabric, as a matter of fact. They love playing tug of war with a piece of fabric. Days ago I suddenly thought perhaps I can make them t-shirt yarn balls, and they might get into playing fetch again. Those fat girls really need some exercise when we aren’t available for walks.
And also, there is another reason for this, which I’ll share when I get to take some photos tomorrow.

If it wasn’t because of this ridiculously sweet look, and the fact that she was bouncing all over the yard like a kangaroo when I came back, I wouldn’t clean that paw with poo all over.
Could you at least watch your step when barking at the monkeys, pretty please?

We had to bring Xiao Bi to the vet’s this afternoon because she had bloody urine. Coco had to tag along because otherwise she’ll be whining and crying like somebody was torturing her. Both of them ended up having a lot of fun believing that a porcelain dog at the vet’s was real and Xiao Bi thought there was another dog behind a tinted glass and decided to go all friendly with her own reflection. Way to go, girls!
Xiao Bi was given antibiotic and a med for 5 days. I’m thinking it should be urinary tract infection – but what do I know? Though the good thing is, she was, and still is, as crazy and active as ever. Which means I’m going to be very miserable for the next 5 days trying to put those pills in her mouth without her spitting them out.

I first learned about FURminator from dooce®. Since both the dogs are always shedding and the ordinary brush that we’ve got couldn’t do much to help, I decided to get one. Special thanks to Alex who flew it back all the way from the U.S. Luckily it does its job pretty well, totally keeping us from becoming fur-human after we have direct physical contact with the dogs – plus the dogs seem to really like it. Otherwise, with that price, Wah will just continue to point at my nose repeatedly saying that it’s just a fancy brush with a fancy name.
