So I was saying there was another reason for me to make the t-shirt yarn balls for the dogs. You know how we’ve always said that Xiao Bi and Coco are just, crazy? Well they are both crazy, but in totally different ways. And Coco’s way is getting annoying lately because SHE CHEWS ON AND EATS EVERYTHING INCLUDING STONES AND HER OWN POO EXCEPT FOR HER OWN TOYS. Seriously, don’t even get me started on how I have to peek on her from the house after her dinner every night so I can quickly yell at her when she finished pooping and turned over intending to eat her poo just because she wouldn’t poo when I was around.
And despite keeping their expensive fancy brush on a shelf almost the height of my shoulder, somehow she still managed to climb up and get it and break it and chew on it and, OH-EHM-GEE!

There are chew marks all over the top part but for now I’m just going to pretend they are not there. Wah is now trying to see if we can fix it (the broken part is to push out the fur) with epoxy and we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see if it works. Until then, anyone still think the dogs are cute? Seriously?

Yesterday I happened to talk to the uncle at the pet supply shop that we go regularly. We adopted Coco from his neighbour slightly more than two years ago. Apparently just like Coco, all her family members were known for some sort of crazy-nerve thingy. Now that sure explains a lot. They probably only have similar amount of brain tissues in their heads that they merely act on their instincts.
I actually haven’t been feeling too well for the past few days. I thought it was the weather and you know, I haven’t been getting proper sleep because of insomnia and all. OK I do know that these are all excuses. The bottom line is, I haven’t been taking good care of myself, that’s why I don’t feel well. Boohoo!
Anyway, this whole not-too-well thing finally hit me hard today. I’ve been having continuous headache for 2-3 days now, and today, it was so bad I could barely stand straight. This, and couple with that crazy backache since early this week. I finally took a painkiller last night, hoping that they will all go away but they stayed up and greeted me even more vigorously when I woke up this morning.
So I decided to stay at home, take another painkiller, and catch some rest. Sounds like the perfect thing to do, except that the dogs don’t really care about your plans. On most days, they spend their afternoon taking long naps in funny positions. Occasionally they do bark like mad when there are monkeys pointing imaginary middle fingers at them from the neighbour’s tree. Today, however, with no reason whatsoever, Coco decided to impress herself by making a whole lot of noise while trying to squeeze herself through the gaps on the small gate.
She doesn’t normally do that. I don’t know what triggered that behaviour but when I looked down from the window, I could see Xiao Bi turning her back towards Coco, with that crazy mutt swinging her butt from one side to another thinking that she had not only impressed herself, but me too.
This lasted for a few hours, until the painkiller decided to quit because nobody can beat Coco. Which also means until now, I’m still living with terrible headache and backache. As much as I don’t like to, another painkiller has made itself to the list for tonight.
Coco turns 2 today. And to celebrate, we did the only thing that she hates the most – BATHING. LOL.
No joke, she hates water so much that even if there is just a bit of water on the floor, she will take the long route to reach her destination. No chance stepping on water at all if she had a choice. If I clean the floor when she’s eating, she’ll change direction so the water won’t reach her. She is just the exact opposite of Xiao Bi when it comes to water.
Anyway, looking back at her one-year-old post, we have definitely walked a long way. Well at least she no longer crawls into the neighbour’s yard (although that’s because we have ‘crawled-proof’ the fence). Though she still occasionally plays with everything handy or not handy (unless she hears COCOOOOOO!!!), eats everything including my solar lamp, and sometimes, her own poo.
But we’re sure that Xiao Bi is loving her more and more, ever since she took responsibility of Xiao Bi’s oral and ear hygiene. So are we – although our oral and ear hygiene are both none of your business – you hear us, Coco? :)
Happy Birthday, little pal! :)

… so we equipped the dogs with gears and let them work too. :D
Oh my, I can’t believe I’ve skipped blogging for nearly a week now. The truth is, this whole new-workstation thingy is eating all my energy and time, and really, I do not want to bore anyone of you with all the little details of the moving – though they are quite fun, at least for us. :)
We’ll be away for a short trip tomorrow and should be back over the weekend. And then it’s all about moving in because most of the furniture should be fixed before we leave, and my dad will be helping to settle some electrical work while we’re away. Now I realise why I always tend to see something and feel that I can and should do it myself. Because I totally, I mean, TOTALLY, got it from my dad.
P/S: And of course I have problem taking proper photos of the dogs in gear. They wouldn’t be my dogs if I can take proper photos of them without the wrestles and all.
