Pet Project: huey&wah @ Etsy

Nope, not mine. :)
This is my little nephew. For now his name is still baby – say hello!
He sleeps a lot. Like, really a lot. I haven’t seen him with his eyes open yet. Bwah! Maybe I should spend more time staring at him, and then he’ll probably realise his aunt is desperately waiting to, you know, officially meet him and all.
Now he is probably thinking oh no I have a boring aunt. LOL.
Also, we’ll be slacking off a bit this weekend to take some rest and attend to some personal matters. So, here’s the deal. Get additional 5% off while we’re away. No I’m serious. Just use coupon code WEEKEND5 when you check out on Etsy. So it’s like 10% + 5%. This weekend only.

We brought KayKay to the vet again for a follow up. She went hiding behind the chairs when we were picking her up at my grandma’s place. Poor thing must have thought she’d be cut open again.
Unlike her first trip, she vomited in the car on our way there this round, and drooled a pool on our way back. Lots of cleaning is much needed for the car!

So I turned another year older today.
Little niece greeted me with a ‘note paper’ where she has written her birthday wishes for me. She was then fascinated by the idea of giving ‘ang pow’ when she saw my mother doing that, and decided that she’ll give me one too. Thank you, kiddo! :)
P/S: And if you haven’t yet, check out this Facebook Page I created for our fat dog, Xiao Bi. She celebrated with me using her own way too. :)

Yesterday we sent my grandma’s dog, KayKay for her spaying appointment. Despite all the oh-she-might-jump-everywhere-in-the-car and oh-she-might-bite worries from my grandma, KayKay was totally a sweetheart and made no fuss throughout the trip. When we picked her up this morning, the vet’s assistant told me that she did snap a bit but I’ve heard this is her way when she’s afraid – which is also something that I’m planning to work with her soon.
She was totally happy when she got home. Finished her power soup+rice and slept her way to la-la-land.

Some time last week Wah was treasure-hunting at my late grandma’s place and he brought back a vintage typewriter. Believing that he’ll need a key to open the case, he hasn’t really tried opening it up yet, until this afternoon when we brought it back to our workstation.
And guess what?

Someone from the past left this note with the typewriter!
Wah couldn’t help but burst into laughter – well, we both did. LOL. After posting on Facebook looking for the ‘author’, no one came forward to admit he/she is the one yet. My mom and I thought it was from my dad but he said he couldn’t remember a single bit.
So the original ‘author’, if you are reading this, can you reveal yourself, pretty please? :D
