Where Is My Sunday?

I basically have no weekends. My weekends are like weekdays. If you look at it from the bright side, everyday is like a weekend. How sweet! Except that in my case, everyday is like a weekday.

And for some reason, I just have to re-shoot photos on weekends. It happened when I was just sitting there thinking which part in our business that I need to work on/tweak and the next thing I knew, I was already ironing that huge piece of background cloth with my camera aside.

I ended up changing all of the first photos of our MacBook and MacBook Pro sleeves to something with white/grey background again. I’m sorry, I just can’t stand looking at them with ‘other colours’. It’s just so not-us. I guess at this point you can say that I’m pretty obsessed with the ‘clean’ look. Funny though my work space has never been ‘clean’. Bah!

I was way too tired after shooting all (nearly 50) of them, and decided to shoot the 2nd and 3rd photo for the others tomorrow. Well actually, if I could, I’ll shoot now, but it’s already night time, and I’m really, really, really very tired. So I’ll have to wait.

  • Alternatively you could photoshop your photos to completely white-out the background.

Whoa I’m trying not to do so. It’s a lot of work. I quite like the way that little shadow shows, so I’m OK with this, as long as the background is not too wrinkled up like it used to be.

  • Even with the wand function? Can just select the background and magic away the un-whiteness, and still keep the shadows, right? But I guess the edges of the shadows will turn out a bit jagged and will require a bit of smudging or airbrushing to…

Okay, yeah. It’s too much work. :p
