The dough was nicer than the first attempt and certainly easier to cut with the cookie cutter. The colour is actually golden brown, not dark brown as shown in the photo. Close to perfect except I think they are slightly harder than I expected – well I’m not too sure how ‘hard’ they are supposed to be, and of course the flour at the sides which I added for easier cutting. Should have used cooking oil instead… that’s me when it comes to baking or cooking – just grab anything close to me. :P
Still a hit among the dogs though. They can do just about ANYTHING for a piece of this. :)
