WARNING: The clip is a little long and boring. Coco the mutt spent her evening believing that the ball is a living thing – because it bounced back. And Xiao Bi, let’s just say that she loves Coco so much that she would only do tricks to distract Coco away from the ball so she can have it.
The time at Kelantan was awesome. I always get good rest and sleep whenever I was there. I believe it’s partially because I didn’t have to deal with the messy dogs in the morning. LOL!
Upon my arrival after a super-long 7-hour bus ride, I found this in the car. Yes, of course it was for me.
This, is my first Valentine’s flower from Wah. Though I had a few questions for him – you know, like, hey why are there 5 Ferrero Rocher? Why didn’t you get roses? Why did you choose this purplish-blue colour? – it was more than just a surprise (if you are interested to know how he answered – with some debates from others, they are here). I’ve known this man who doesn’t fancy celebrating Valentine’s Day (or any other important dates!) for about 4 years now and here I’ve got a bouquet of Ferrero Rochers and Forget-Me-Not from him – ooo and I didn’t get him anything!
I’ll be leaving for Kelantan tomorrow morning. Will be there for about 2-3 days. So will most likely not be updating the blog or anything during this period of time.
As I was packing up, it somehow reminded me of the mental to-do list that I’ve had for myself for this Chinese New Year. As you might have predicted, my to-do list is NOTHING about Chinese New Year, and of course is ALL about work and work and work. Bla.
But I didn’t do most of them. I didn’t cut the banners. I didn’t sew up the mini cards that I wanted to complete so badly. I didn’t work on the prototypes that I wanted to. Oh and I didn’t even sand the hoops that I bought months back.
I was only sleeping. Teehee. For some reason I’ve been feeling extremely tired for the past few days, not to mention the severe headache that I had on the second day of Chinese New Year. So all I did was just sleeping, working on a new jigsaw puzzle that my little brother got, and Wii-fitting for a while. And of course, walking and spending more time with the dogs.
I guess all the tiredness from one whole year just decided to pour on me at this time. :)
I’m not really a big fan of this festival – nothing to do with the festival, it’s just that it’s always hot, noisy, with lots and lots of fireworks contributing to the already-polluted-and-smoky-air.
I did manage to capture some of these from my window last night. Not really clear shots as I didn’t have anything to support my shaky hands. The dogs were totally not comfortable with the noises.
P/S: This Saturday’s Green Step will be skipped, as apparently, this workaholic thought she wouldn’t rest at all. But in fact, she rested pretty well – with only a little work done in between. :)
So I tried again today. Only to find these in the yard.
One of Xiao Bi’s toys. Kinda ‘eaten’ by Coco after she joined the family.
Xiao Bi’s second ball. It was first rolled over by a car, and then destroyed by both of them. They still love it though.
The basketball. It’s too big for both of them to carry so Xiao Bi decided to dig a hole and bury it – NOBODY should play with it!
Scratches on dad’s bamboo gate. Most of them are from Xiao Bi when she kinda tried a.k.a forced to open the gate.
Anyway, since Wah is not around, I’m in charge. I love that Xiao Bi got the idea and behaved really well during our evening walk these few days. Coco hasn’t improved much but I’m working on it. So Coco, YOU HEAR ME! NO PULLING!
