Little Penang Street Market.

I met a supplier at work and was chit-chatting for a while after finishing our usual business talk. In our short conversation, we somehow started to talk about our little business and she mentioned about the Little Penang Street Market and said that we should go and try. I think we were there to shop around earlier this year but didn’t think about being a vendor as we were both busy at that time.

Now this could be a good timing. I came back home and mentioned to Wah about it, and he was interested too. No harm trying I guess. So I wrote to them and within a few hours, was given a reply stating that we can be in the market next Sunday! Whee! :)

So it’s going to be another week with lots and lots of work. We obviously don’t have enough inventory to fill up the place at the moment so good luck to us! >.<

As We Approach the End of The Week.

This week has been pretty awesome for us. I finally tendered my resignation letter, after all the hesitation and all. True enough it was a relief. Not that I didn’t like my day job, it’s just that with our little business over here, I couldn’t really focus on what I was doing and I felt really bad for that. So I decided to end my apparently-already-very-short-lived day job and back to do what I love most. It’s a little earlier than scheduled, but oh well.

Some time in the middle of the week when I was at work, I received a surprise from a convo on Etsy. It was an invitation for a possible nation-wide media exposure, which I have totally no idea how it got to us! Both of us couldn’t stop smiling since the day! LOL! We submitted all requested info on the evening itself, now fingers crossed. It should be on a weekend. I’ll share it once I found out when. :)

So with all the busy schedule, we’ve finally listed something on Etsy.

From The Work Desk.

The back of Wah’s chair at the work desk has been ‘fractured’ for quite some time. I honestly didn’t like sitting on his char with the fractured-back. It was as if it will break anytime and I’ll fall. But he didn’t want to do anything with it, until two nights ago, he was working in front of the computer and stretching his back, and ‘phiak!’. It broke. LOL!

Yesterday evening, he pulled out pieces of unwanted banners and started measuring and sewing. Certainly it doesn’t look perfect but guess what, it feels comfy to rest on and it’s really strong!

Are You On Tumblr?

I was surfing around and found a rather fun site. Tumblr. If you ask me, no I don’t quite understand the whole idea but it looks neat and nice and, yeah, fun. :)

So I signed up. Waiting to explore more. And also testing this new plugin on WordPress and see if it could sync and auto-post on our Tumblr blog too.

If you are on Tumbrl, find us here. :)

Let’s See What We Have!

So in the previous poll, it seems that most voters go for our current cutting and 3/4 sleeves! Thanks for everyone who participated! :)

We might only be able to go with one of these for this batch of order. Time to meet up with the supplier and see what can be done.

Stay tuned! ;)
