I’ve never really had new year’s resolution. I think I have been kinda random in dealing with life, and making decisions based on my instincts. Well at least everything has been great so far. *touch wood*
Now as we approach the end of 2009, this time, I do have some new year’s resolution in mind. More like some must-do’s. Let’s see.
- Walk at least one green step per day, big or small, from 1 Jan 2010 onwards, for a total of 365 days, and record in this blog – with photos if possible.
- Read up most, if not all the business and marketing books for small business that I’ve been collecting – yeah ‘collecting’. I never had the time to finish them.
- Set up a proper studio + perhaps retail. This is still a long way to go, but we are determined to do it. Things might still change along the road, we shall see…
- Spend more time with the dogs and family. I haven’t been able to keep up with the two messy dogs (I wonder why they are still so messy at this age, especially Xiao Bi. All she wants is play and play and play. She doesn’t seem to be growing!) and my family this past year. Haven’t shopped with mum for ages – although both of us don’t shop much either. Hehe.
- Spend more time baking. I really love baking (easy ones, I mean). I’d love to bake more often in 2010.
- Exercise more. I don’t think I can keep up with this one. LOL! I need to hike more, go to the beach more – arrggghhh I miss going to the beach for clams!
What else? I can’t think of more now. Perhaps the list will go on later, you know, the spontaneous me. :)

The Little Penang Street Market was fun. We’ve got lots of inquiries and exposures but no sales, which is a bummer. LOL! Anyway, it was a fun one. And you can’t imagine what questions people will ask – even though the answer was obvious. Had good laugh and good time, and oh not to mention meeting two Etsians there too. Thanks Flying for the soap! ;)
And then some time over the weekend my brother received a parcel from the U.S for me. It was the 1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse book! Don’t ask me how I got it. I don’t know either. I remember canceling the order and placing another order at the local bookstore. Oh well.

2010 is just so around the corner! What’s my new year’s resolution? Work HARDER and HARDER and HARDER, and rest MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE! :)
I’ve been bugging Wah about the idea on storage items that we’ve had for quite a while. It’s really a little difficult to develop new ideas when one of us (me!) has a day job and another (him!) has freelance job. But we finally did it today. :D
Here is a sample that we’ve worked out today. An eco-friendly storage bin for CDs, DVDs, books, and other small items that you can think of. Will be bringing some to the Little Penang Street Market tomorrow – only managed to work out a few, and perhaps list on Etsy later next week. I LOVE organisers! :D
OK you may boo me. As usual, I’ve been so busy and tied up at work that I haven’t been able to keep up with the blog and others. Took a day off at work yesterday but ended up still working here and there. If I were you, I’d boo me. >.<
I did make sure I can do some work at night and of course, today. And as mentioned, we’ll be at the Little Penang Street Market this Sunday, there are really a lot to work on – we haven’t planned on how to set up, display, and bla bla bla yet!
Here are something that I’ve done last night and this morning. Some little hang tags on our items. My favourite part is that we can manually write the No. of the item on the tag for each of the item, adding a more personal touch to them. I wonder why I never thought of doing this. Bummer.

Anyhow, some time early this week I received an email on a potential interview from somewhere I’d really like to be. We haven’t finalised/confirmed anything yet though. Once I have more info in hand, I’ll blog about it. I hope it works out! Santa, can you hear me? ;)
