Growing Wheatgrass Is Never Fun…

… unless your dog enjoys it. :)

The main reason for me to start growing wheatgrass is to offer to Xiao Bi occassionally for her to graze or eat. I read about this idea in my dog bible, Dr Pitcairn’s book. When I started growing about 1-2 weeks ago, I was really glad that this thing is amazingly easy to grow. What’s more rewarding is that Xiao Bi enjoys it A LOT!

I wanted to take a photo of her chewing on the wheatgrass that I’ve cut off the pots but didn’t get the chance to do so. She would practically come near me with the expression as if I’ve got her favourite snacks in my hand. She has been eating them as morning or afternoon snack for about a week or so. I’ve also chopped off some and included in her meal once. Since this healthy little grass seems to contain a lot of vitamins and minerals – which I have been kinda worried that she is lack of, I’m really glad that she enjoys it. It’s definitely better than her grazing the random wild grass out there during her regular walks – what’s more, it’s organically grown in my own garden. :)
