What A Day!

Someone must be answering my prayer. You know, I’ve been hoping that our items could be included in a beautiful treasury and hopefully the front page – and ultimately make some sales. It’s been so quiet lately that I admit at one point, I started to have doubt in whatever we have been doing. But it’s time like that that I believe we need to look into ourselves and start some spring cleaning. Make changes, promote, and market. That’s what life is about. Moving, keep moving.

And today, the weather was so hot that I almost wanted to squeeze myself in the bathroom and just stay right there for an hour. I had a quick afternoon snack and went back surfing and *ting*! I saw our Basic Upcycled Long Purse / Wallet No. 10, making to the front page of Etsy! I’ve just relisted this purse two days ago and replaced the old boring photos with some fresh shots, after looking into the old items and taking some advices from others. That’s what I meant! :)

It’s still on the front page when I’m typing this. I’m not sure if we’ll be able to make any sale at this hour but I like the exposure. Thanks to whoever who had answered my prayer. :)

Oooppppsss, Forgot.

I wanted to include this in the previous post but I must be aging for sure, I totally forgot about the whole thing until now – 3 hours later. >.<

Winniel from Winniel & The Laughing House is doing product review and giveaway for the first time, and we’ve participated – also for the first time! LOL! Since it’s the first time for both of us, I’m not quite sure how will this thing go but do check out the post at the link above for details and participate. The giveaway is one of our favourite Basic Upcycled Long Purse/Wallets. Oh and feel free to let me know what you think about the long purse/wallet if you are the winner, or what do you think about the product giveway! :)

First Blog Award!

Special thanks to Tracy from Dust of Enchantment! I have never received a blog award before – pathetic… but anyway, let’s see what I should do here. :D

Rules: To name 7 things I love and then tag 7 other blogs.

7 Things I Love:

  1. My family – including my dear boyfriend and my forever rebellious Golden Retriever, Xiao Bi.
  2. Buffet dinner – I’m petite but when it comes to yummy buffet with fresh seafood, pasta, grilled beef and more, I’ll kill. LOL!
  3. My comfy Crocs – I don’t always buy shoes but I have to have a pair of Crocs. I have weak feet.
  4. My iMac – I don’t like the crappy internet connection over here but I’d love to love them, if they ever improve.
  5. My muffins – I started making muffins because my dear boyfriend loves muffins. Now it’s turning into a hobby cum casual business. Feels good. :)
  6. My vegetable seedlings – they probably need even more love than I can imagine because they just won’t grow! >.<
  7. My life – I think I’m pretty blessed by having lots and lots of nice people around in my life. I have great family, loving boyfriend, naughty dog, funny friends. I wouldn’t mind to have a little more $$$ but it’s OK for now. LOL!

OK now I should pass this award to another 7 blogs. I don’t know most of the blog owners but hopefully they’ll do it. :P

  1. Karen’s Palette
  2. TEROMPAHSURAU
  3. littlebrownpen
  4. Primoriginals
  5. PennyDog Jewellery Blog
  6. Why does the bluebird sing?
  7. Honey & Daisy

My Coin Bank.

As I normally don’t carry coin purse with me, I tend to put all the coins in my pocket and throw them all in a basket or something when I get home. I used to have a few glass bottles to store the coins – one for 10 cents, one for 20 cents, one for 50 cents, and a Vodka bottle for 1 cent and 5 cents. But seriously, I haven’t been ‘updating’ them so much. Once in a while, perhaps.

This afternoon my parents told me about some interesting practice of Feng Shui and I’ve decided to clear my Vodka bottle and separate the 1 cent and the 5 cents. And I have a total of 855 1 cents (equals to RM8.55) and 363 5 cents (equals to RM18.15) after all these years! LOL!

The Not-So Wonderful Thing.

Yes I know I was telling people that Project Wonderful is Really Wonderful.

But after a couple of months of struggling with it, no it doesn’t appear to be too wonderful to me now.

Reason number 1. It’s taking really really really very long to load a page. I just wanted to navigate to see my ad boxes or my bids. And it’s taking forever. Yes I know the internet connection over here sucks but hey, I could load all other sites fast enough with no problem. And this one, I’m always given ‘Network Timeout’ error message.

Reason number 2. Same with number 1. It’s even worse because I’m trying to create an ad or a campaign, and I’m constantly given the error message, and I have to start ALL OVER AGAIN! This morning itself, I have wasted almost 2 hours just trying to beat that stupid error message. Good? NO!!!

Reason number 3 and so on. Same reason la!!!

ARRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!
