After such a long while, I’m finally back in action.
So many things happened over the past one week. My life was all about editing, and editing, and rendering, and rendering for really a long while, along with all the other last minute requests from work. And then it was the weekend filled with fun and craziness – not the usual craziness that I enjoy, seriously. LOL!
It was one of my old friend’s wedding last weekend. A friend whom I’ve known for, erm, at least 20 years. She is the first among our (girl) friends who got married – this probably explains how weird our bunch of friends are. :P
The groom is one of our gang of friends too. And talking about the groom, he brought me the biggest surprise of the year so far on the first night of the wedding dinner. I was behind the reception counter checking out the guests when he waved at me and asked me out. He said he wanted me to meet his sister. I was like, OK… but why ah? And then my little brain started to process and thought perhaps all others have met his sister but not me. And then I was brought to this lady who smiled at me after being introduced with my real name, and said, oh hi the Muffin Baker!
What happened?! What happened?! OK I started to believe that she must be someone who happened to read my blog, OR who happened to have seen my crazy muffin attacks on Facebook. Until she said…
“I’m mh.”
What the H?!
mh?! mh?! mh?! I have been reading my friend’s sister’s blog for all these while?! And she has been reading mine for all these while?! mh, I’m seriously not being honest if I tell you I wasn’t shocked at all! LOL!
And the conclusion is, Shu-Yin (and the rest) you better stop blogging about me with my real name. And another conclusion is, shit I’ll have to stop scolding at people in my blog from now onwards – my identity ‘terbongkar-ed‘! LOL!
And back to the wedding. Oh I love the band. Good interaction with the guests. Our table of friends actually shamelessly making themselves so comfy as if they (or we!) were attending concert or something. LOL! And then they started to drink, and drink, and drink, and, not knowing what happened to themselves later. -.- Me and darl and another old friend left quite early and didn’t witness what happened next but according to others who didn’t drink but stayed back, it was, let’s just that everything turned upside down. LOL!
**********
To the newly-wed (if you happen to read, since my identity ‘terbongkar-ed‘), congratulations! I’m sure the rest had a great time (super great time) entertaining themselves. And seriously, it was great! :)
