Flying Eagle v.2.

We name this v.2 (version 2) because it doesn’t look quite the same with the one we initially made. We had to remake the mold because it was spoilt. But I believe this one will last much longer – since we are using the magical silicone putty. :)

Width: Approx 2 cm at widest point
Height: Approx 3.4 cm
Thickness: 0.7 cm at thickest point

Hand-casted with layers of resin, embedded with an original photo taken by us. Hand-sanded and polished to a matte and slightly frosted finish. Hangs on a sterling silver jump ring. Comes with a stainless steel ball chain necklace (ball diameter 2.0mm, length 50cm) as shown in the photos.

The surface is smoother than the first version, but there are still very tiny ‘holes’ and lines that are left for the natural and organic feel. As with all resin jewelry, there are tiny bubbles formed during the curing process. Slightly yellowish-tinted from the colour of the resin.

During the Day…

Of course, I sleep.

Until the human woke me up with the sound from her camera. !@#$%^&*().

What? You woke me up and I can’t play with my stone?

(Note: Xiao Bi loves playing with the pebbles in our garden. She chews and rolls over them. lol.)

Now my tail is itchy…

**********

I somehow started to notice that Xiao Bi was a little aggressive towards other dogs – except for her bf Bobby, and Honey. I used to think that she was just overly excited but a few days back, when darl helped a neighbour to ‘rescue’ their dog who fell into a river – actually just by the river – Xiao Bi acted really aggressive when she saw the dog coming up. A little scary, I’d say.

I told myself that we have to challenge her more. Yesterday evening during our walk, we walked pass 3 dogs, including one off-leash, and Winnie the Labrador whom she always got too excited to. I made it a point to tell myself to ‘JUST STAY FOCUS AND MOVE FORWARD’, and to correct her before she even started to look at them. The results? It worked like magic! She just walked straight with no problem. :)
