The Change.

I’ve been having an extremely hectic schedule for the past two weeks. So hectic that I can barely have my own time to sit down and think about what had happened.

But I did notice a little change that is about to take place. A change that I’ve been hoping for, and looking forward to. I’m not 100% sure if it’s going to work out this time, but I’m more than eager to have it turn out to be true.

I’ve been doing some reviews and plannings for my little business project lately. Keeping up with all the work with only my two hands is really difficult but I’m seeing some other possibilities now as things go by. Ways and possibilites to make things better.

Ah… it feels so good when you suddenly can feel the changes that are about to take place, after being idle for a while. :)

A Date at The Beach.

We didn’t make it to the beach last Sunday due to darl’s old injury on his knee. So despite my packed and tight schedule, we decided to make a trip this Sunday evening. It rained a little when we were about to leave and I thought we had to postpone again this time. But it stopped after a while. Weird weather nowadays. :/

We stopped by Bobby’s place to see if they would like to join. Bobby’s owner agreed and we all headed to the beach in darl’s car, and I had to squeeze myself with two huge dogs at the back seat. lol.

Upon arriving at the beach, the dogs couldn’t resist to sniff around, as usual. We were greeted by a black beach dog, who, couldn’t resist barking at us, in his case. Xiao Bi didn’t bother too much, and walked towards the beach. Bobby on the other hand, was a bit erm… ‘reserved’. :)

Darl brought Xiao Bi down into the water after walking around. Bobby refused to go and just keep himself on the beach!

The handsome Bobby.

And meanwhile, the black dog was still barking, barking, and barking…

And here is Bobby refusing to go near the water. I think it was probably because it’s his first time to this beach and after so long since he went to his regular beach, so he was kinda not used to the whole idea.

While Xiao Bi on the other hand, had a great time swimming and running along the beach. Darl said Xiao Bi was actually whining when she was swimming but she still, wanted to swim. :)

Bobby went greeting Xiao Bi back. lol. That’s the nearest that he would go to the water. A wave came and he just ran away!

It rained again after like a good 30 minutes of fun time, and off we had to leave. Next time, Bobby. :)

PhotoHunt: Together.

The good old time. Taken about 3 years ago while waiting for ferry cover ourselves in the sand of Pulau Redang (Redang Island) at the jetty.

Happy hunting! :)

I Have A Dream.

While everyone – well, at least those I know – is excited about Obama’s victory, I myself had been extremely busy with some last minute work, and worst of all, fell sick for a continous two days. Flu, very bad flu. And yet I was still sitting in front of the computer, working, working, and working. And my mobile phone became a hotline. Sigh…

Anyway. There are like thousands of articles on the internet, on how Obama has fulfilled the dream in the speech from Martin Luther King, Jr in 1963. Some of the key excerpts are really touched, and I particularly like this one:

“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.’”

But can it be all creatures are created equal?

I recently had a few very unpleasant experiences with some people while walking Xiao Bi. Just for the record, I’ve always took the responsibility of clearing Xiao Bi’s poo when we walk. I would place a newspaper underneath and pack up in a plastic bag whenever she poo. I consider myself a rather responsible dog owner.

One morning when we were walking, together with Xiao Bi’s boyfriend, Bobby – yea she has a boyfriend – we walked pass a house nearby and suddenly I heard a sound from a lady yelling:

“Bullshit you!”

I looked around and I saw someone standing behind the window on the first floor of the house. I stared at her and heard someone in the house asking what the lady was doing. She answered:

“No, there is a dog.” And then she turned around and yelled again, “Bullshit you!”

I was so shocked at the moment that I couldn’t even respond properly. I looked at both Xiao Bi and her boyfriend. No they weren’t poo-ing or pee-ing. They were just sniffing around, walking, like what animals normally do. What? Do you expect everyone to jump or fly over your house when they pass by? I looked back at the lady and almost challenged her down for an argument. But I didn’t.

Yes it was very unpleasant, on how rude some people can be. I don’t want to generalise but the moment I told darl about the incident, his response was, “It’s an aunty, right?”

It’s Always Easier to Give Up.

You know, sometimes one can get very tired on something. I’m referring to something like an issue that seems to be never-ending, despite of all the hardwork, talk, trying to be understanding, etc..

You know, like the classic drama of an innocent girl who fell in love with a boy who refuse to grow up. How much longer can the girl convince herself to continue holding on a promise and commitment that couldn’t seem to be fulfilled? Of course, this is just something that I made up to describe the situation.

You know, it’s just always easier to give up than to hold on. Like walking through the endless dark tunnel. Should I declare myself defeated and die in the middle of the tunnel or continue walking until I see the first light (if there is any)?
