The Rehabilitation.

After watching several episodes of the Dog Whisperer, we have been practicing the idea and exercise on Xiao Bi for the past one week. Believe it or not, it has been working really, really, really well!

Today marked my first walk with Xiao Bi with no pulling and trying to fight attitude from her. It was a peaceful walk, with her walking and following by my side. I wasn’t able to take control two days ago and darl was the one who walked her. But I guess she had picked up the calm, submissive behavior and when I walked her today, she was just… so different with the Xiao Bi that I used to know! lol.

I felt so good after walking her this evening. She was calm, adorable… goodness! I still can’t believe that this is happening to my GR whom I thought will always be rebellious!

It’s not only the method of training that matters. It was about dog psychology. As soon as we understand the ‘why’, we’ll understand the ‘how’. It was that simple!

Our Supper.

Last night me and darl were just in the mood of eating very hungry, so although the dinner wasn’t very light, we were already planning on what to eat for supper just right after our dinner. He suggested to make use of the beef tenderloin that we bought about 2 weeks ago (frozen, of course), while I suggested to make our own dish with oyster mushroom. Ever since I tasted the very yummy oyster mushroom at Parkroyal Hotel, I just kept thinking about the taste. I was never a mushroom fan, but the freshness and the taste… it was just so right! >.<

So at about 9:30pm, we decided to prepare both the dishes to eat along with the movie that we were about to watch. Darl took care of the beef, as usual, and I took care of the oyster mushroom.

Stir fried beef with ginger and garlic in soy sauce. Yummy as usual. :)

Grey oyster mushroom with garlic oil and oyster sauce. I kinda overcooked the mushroom, hence it was a little bit too soft. :/

Good food, good movie, good companion. :D
