Ever since I had the worst menstrual in my life early this year, I thought what could be worse. Not until last night. This time around, menstrual wasn’t just about headache, body ache and nausea, it was also about the unbearable cramps in the lower abdomen. It was so bad that it lasted for a few hours, and I was practically crying for help.
Until I finally could go to sleep at midnight, I was waken up by the sudden cold in my body. Yeah IN my body. I was already covered with three layers of blankets and I could still feel the cold. For one moment I thought I got Denggi. @.@
Darl came in and identified that I’ve got fever – seriously, where did this fever come from??? I thought it was only menstrual! And I never know menstrual will bring fever!
Anyway, finally settled with two Panadols and covered myself with three blankets PLUS darl’s hug. Sweated and, recovered.
Lesson learned: No Tomyam, no ice water, no hokkien mee, no fried or spicy food one week before period next time! @.@

hope you are feeling better now. this happens to me too…it is just inexplicable. feeling great one day and totally crap the next
mh: Ya I’m better today, thanks. Seriously, I didn’t know menstrual will bring fever. @.@ I thought the one early this year was my worst, but this time… even worse… @.@
aiks i understand ur pain and the struggle that u went through! mine is as bad as yours … but not that bad til fever yet. (pray hard and touch wood and fingers cross) i have to take pain killers within the 1st 30mins from the first drop everytime. IF NOT….. i’ll be vomiting non-stop for the next few hours even if i am not drinking nor eating anything. From my research online, i need to cut down on dairy products (which is soooo impossible for me.. cos i can’t live without milk for 1 month) .. i’ve tried ice water but it didnt work… maybe i should cut down on spicy food too….. take care
eileen: Thank you. Wa yours seems to be worse. At least this doesn’t happen to me every month (touch wood!).
