Friend. :)

I managed to drag darl out of the bed this morning and brought Xiao Bi out for a walk. Like what I was expecting, her new friend was out for a walk too. But this time around, he wasn’t that calm anymore. They both got so excited seeing each other that they were practically dragging their handlers! It was so fun seeing two GRs playing with each other on the road. lol. Too bad I didn’t bring my camera along. :/

After a while, her friend started to act weird, like ‘oosshhh-oosshhh-ing’. lol. The owner commented that this fella is getting big and is looking for gf now. lol. Xiao Bi, on the other hand, obviously wasn’t ready for this, and was kinda ‘chased’ by him.

We walked together for the whole route as the dogs just couldn’t stay away from each other. About 30 minutes later, when we decided to go back, her friend’s owner had to practically carry the dog to their house. He just refused to go! lol.

I’m really glad that Xiao Bi now has a friend. Over the past few days when I brought her out for her evening walk, she would normally go to her friend’s house to pay a short visit before and after she started her walk. She just love her new friend. :)

My Lomo.

I have been blogging a lot lately. I’m not sure why but it seems that I have a lot to tell. lol. Believe it or not, I’ve been setting up this and the previous few posts to auto publish at my desired day and time, so that I don’t have a lot of posts in one day.

Darl has been considering getting himself a Lomo. I have a Lomo. It’s a supersampler. I got it as a surprise birthday gift many years back. If you are unaware of Lomo or Lomography, check out this link for some details. It’a all about the very cool, intuitive, without planning style of photography with a mechanical camera. Yes I know, many of the effects can be done by a DSLR and a good Photoshop skill. But hey that’s the fun thing about Lomo. You can never expect what you’re getting.

Of course one of the major drawbacks for me is that it’s not digital. That means I have to spend A LOT buying and developing films, which explains why I haven’t been using it for ages – in fact, I’ve only used it once. lol.

When darl started talking about Lomo, I digged out my supersampler and we tested with an 200 ASA film. Didn’t work out well – it fact, it didn’t work out at all. I’m planning to get another 800 ASA film and see if it works. If it doesn’t… I hope The Lomographic Society reply to the enquiry that I’ve sent out to them regarding this matter. :D
