Pet Project: huey&wah @ Etsy

Being a Golden Retriever, my dog, Xiao Bi (pronounced as ‘sea-aw bee’) has always been a water dog. Even though she doesn’t have access to the beach or pool very often but she grabs each and every opportunity she can get to play with water, eg: digging in her water pot, catching the water when you are watering the plant. LOL.
I don’t have photo of her in action doing those thing but here are two photos of her in the water – one in the baby pool I once set up for her in the garden, and another one at the beach – which I think I’ve shown a few times. LOL.

Yeah! I’m officially one year older. lol.
Compared to all the lousy things happened yesterday, everything was so smooth and nice today. I woke up happily in the morning, remembering the lovely yummy cake with ugly wordings I received from DARL at midnight. LOL. The lady who wrote on it must really put some effort to improve her handwriting on cakes. LOL.
Xiao Bi was waiting for me to feed her breakfast and she kissed and greeted me – I really believe so. My little niece kissed me too. I’ve got red packets from my grandma and parents, and I love red packets – well who doesn’t. LOL. Birthday wishes came in through sms-es, IM messages and phone calls. Thank you all so much. :)
And what’s more, the jewelry that I have been working and experimenting on turned out very well this morning. Everything seems to be so nice. Even the weather has been kind to shed a few drops of rain – not too heavy to make me feel unsafe, but just right for a cooling feel since early morning.
Later in the evening DARL was asking if I wanted to dine outside or at home. I was really OK with anything so I asked him to decide whichever he wanted. He finished his work at around 8 PM and bought beef plus other stuffs to cook. :D It was a quick cooking and he was a last minute cook – he was referring to the recipe online while cooking. LOL.
Dinner was served 30 minutes later. Look at what we had. Steak plus some fried egg from the leftover when preparing the beef. LOL. The sauce was a little bit too much but I like the steak and oh the egg was awesome! :D I guess more importantly is that he made it for me. :) We had it together with plenty of wine while watching the old Indiana Jones. Classic. :)
I’ve been wanting to update this blog for very long but could never really get a time to do so. Probably I just need some time to snap some nice photos of our products, or Xiao Bi, but… OK la all excuses! LOL. Lazy bum.
Anyway.
Today I thought of sharing a very nice experience with a very nice customer of us not long ago. Sometime at the end of last month I received an email sent to my personal email account. I thought it was a spam and luckily, I took a while to read through. It was an enquiry on our Couple-T. Instead of having our standard couple-T, this customer was asking if we could change the wordings ‘My boyfriend’ and ‘My girlfriend’ to their names.
It was such a wonderful and creative idea! I thought. So I quickly replied and worked out a fee for that. Instead of going through the standard fee for our customised-T, I discussed with DARL and worked out a better option for him. We happily suggested a method that, well, a bit more troublesome for us, but save a few bucks in his wallet. :D
We were running out of the size of the t-shirt that he required at that time. He was kind enough to pay us in advance and waited for almost two weeks to have both his customised-Ts ready. Everything went smoothly. We test printed several times before we got the t-shirts and special thanks to his patience, we did it without pressure. If you are reading this, thank you again! :)

Finally, all work done – at least for the moment.
Both me and DARL haven’t been sleeping more than 5 hours a day, for a continuous 4-5 days. I work from home during the day time, rushing for the project from our little business, while he had to report at work. We continued rushing for the project when he came back and had to stay up late at night. He then had to report at work again. I know that he is now extremely tired. So am I. Today I could at least start to rest and I slept for a continuous 6 hours during the day time, but he still has to report at work, and will only be coming back late at night…
I slept for another one-and-a-half hour in the afternoon. I feel like sleeping again now. @.@ I wonder if I’ll turn into a Sleeping not-so-Beauty? LOL.
New projects coming in tomorrow. So good night. :)
I’ll have to skip PhotoHunt this week. Extremely tired with a huge pile of unfinished work. Special thanks to our special friend with the delay and allow no buffer time for our work.
