All the Buzy Buzzy Work.

This week is considered a hectic week for me. As mentioned in the previous post, I’ve been working on listing on international sites, as well as the current ones. At the same time, sales and orders came pouring in – which of course, I really LOVE it! ;)

I was talking to DARL the other day and I realised how many things I am currently taking care of. From designing to purchasing, from account to customer service. No wonder it’s hectic. But I guess the most important thing for me is, how our customers feel dealing with us.

Over the week, there were plenty of customers who replied to us, either telling us about our service, or our products. I love reading their emails, for their compliments, which really made my day. :) One of them who happened to be a student stated that she will be getting another similar item for herself (she bought one for her mother this time). Another one love the service that we have been giving her. All these really made me feel more confidence to venture more into what we have been doing. I really love you people! :D

Today I started listing our items on eBay Singapore. At the same time, I’ve prepared a stencil for our next Pooch Series T-shirts *hint: it’s going to be a couple T!* ;)

On the side note, with all my hectic working around, Xiao Bi came up with her attitude of not eating her meal again. @.@ She has skipped 2 meals, up to date. I suspected it was because of the mutton in her food. At one point she loved mutton so much that she would jump and jump for it. But now she just refused to touch them. @.@

Oh well. Nvm. Save on the mutton then. :D

PhotoHunt: Thirteen (13).

Thirteen?

13?

I’ll just have to show you all one of my favourite snacks, sunflower seeds. I normally like some with me when I am watching TV or reading newspaper. There are thirteen of them in the photo! :D

Happy Hunting! ;)

A Day Full of Yummy Food and Nice People.

Yesterday was a rather ‘unusual day’ for me. Instead of staying at home, I had to get on the road. Well, partly it was because DARL’s leg was injured and he had to go for physiotherapy after work. So I had to send him to work, and then pick him up from work, and send him to the hospital, and pick him up from the hospital. @.@

In between, I took the opportunity to settle some work in the office, and went for a lunch break with my colleagues. We thought of eating at the old New World but ended up parking in front of a kopitiam and went in for some chicken rice. :D

One of my colleagues was highly-recommending the fried egg from the chicken rice stall, which, of course there is no chance for me to miss it. :D When the food arrived, again I was so regret that I didn’t bring my DSLR along. I should really consider making this a habit. @.@

Anyway, here are some shots, taken by my lovely Nokia 2630. :D

My order. It came together with a bowl of dark coloured soup. I think it’s a medical soup or something. Tasted not bad. I ordered chicken, char-siu, and lap-cheong.

And here is the famous fried egg, with mild curry gravy. The curry really complimented the texture of the egg well.

There wasn’t a lot of people when we arrived. But right after we’ve got our food served, more and more people were coming in and when we wanted to leave, we had to wait for like 10-15 minutes for the boss to come over to calculate our share. @.@ We ended up walking to his work place and had a good chit chat with him while paying. :D This man is kinda funny, I tell you. He cracks jokes. :)

Oh if I didn’t mention it, the kopitiam is just somewhere opposite the hawker centre of the New World Park. I can’t remember exactly the name of the shop. The best I can do is, to draw a map to show you. :D

Later at night, after picking up DARL from the hospital, we went to meet up his friends from Kota Bharu. One of them needed to take the bus back to Kota Bharu at 9 PM, and he wanted to eat some good ikan panggang. :D So instead of our initial plan of having Hokkien Mee, we headed toward Queensbay Mall area.

I didn’t know there was a place like this near the seaside. You can see Pulau Jerejak from there. Too bad the beach was really… dirty.

A lady/man (OK la an ah-qua. I really wanna refer to them with descent words but I don’t know what is the best. If you know any, please let me know) came to take our order. He/She was so fast that she almost decided on what we were going to eat. @.@

NottyPooch Design on eBay Malaysia!

Well, the title is not totally correct, as we have actually been testing the water for some time on eBay Malaysia. The past 2 days marks a rather memorable moment for us. For some reason, we sold our ‘My Dog Doesn’t Bite’ door mat/rug and Chic Abalone Earrings on eBay Malaysia, one item a day!

This is kinda exciting for us. It has been pretty quiet for quite a while, and all of a sudden, TING-TONG! :D

I hope this will continue. In the meantime, we are preparing to venture into some international websites. I’ll update more once I have more info in hand. ;)

How I Made Myself A Model.

I was supposed to shoot some photos of myself wearing the T-shirts that we’ve printed for sale some time last week. Somehow, I didn’t know how to do it and I just couldn’t drag myself up doing it. Today, after a good fight with DARL, I finally told myself, what the H, LET’S DO IT – and without the help from anyone!!! (I sound so sick. Hehe.)

Anyway. I dug out the old tripod that my brother once brought back from K.L. I set up a mini studio in my younger brother’s room. I didn’t set up a lot of lights – I wanted it to look just as natural as it could be. So I opened up the curtains and let the natural light came in.

I fixed our Nikon D40x on the tripod and set the timer. Once it started ‘too-too-too-too-too’ I ran in front of the camera and stood still for a simple pose. I took a few shots and did some simple editing of cropping away my pathetic head and placing the watermark. And this is what I’ve got myself into.

Nice eh? :D

I have to admit that this is kinda fun and I am looking forward to the next shooting session for myself. Muahahahahaha!!!
