Never Underestimate the Next Generation.

Some time last week I was alone at Gurney Plaza, intended to buy some stuffs for DARL’s family. When I was walking around, I saw a property roadshow at the Centre Atrium, by Ivory Properties Group. As DARL has been looking for an apartment for himself, I went into the roadshow area and had a peek.

I saw this project, The Peak. I have actually seen the signboard along the road on my way back home for a few times but I didn’t pay much attention to it. I stood in front of the boards with extremely limited information, trying to figure out the exact location and other informations.

The map was… really brief. Information was really limited. I turned around trying to look for someone to talk to but no one was interested to attend to me. Some of the salespersons were more interested to stand outside of the exhibition area to grab more passerby, instead of an already potential buyer standing inside the exhibition area.

I turned back and looked at the limited information again. Plenty of the units were already reserved. I roughly calculated. It took one of the sales lady to come and talk to me after around 20 minutes of staring at nothing.

She asked me if I know the location. I said I know where it turned into as I am staying there, but I wasn’t very sure of the exact location. She started to talk about the ‘main selling points’ for a typical salespersons, eg: how much per square foot, now discount how many percent, etc.. Not that I wasn’t interested in the promotions. It’s just that if I am going to fork out 300k for something, shouldn’t I be given more detailed information, for instance, the features, estimated date of completion, developments around the area, etc.?

I asked for brochures with more info so I could take back and discussed with DARL, and apparently they only had a brochure with very limited info, just like what you can see in the roadshow. -.- I said I’ll have to wait for DARL to come back and have a look, this lady, at her late 30′s or early 40′s, probably noticed that I wasn’t going to buy on the spot, replied in a rather cold way while looking at another directions:

“Nowadays with mobile phone, you can just call him up. Very easy nia.”

I was like, what the H. -.- Don’t you feel it’s ridiculous to ask you customer to make decision on a few hundred thousands of transaction through phone?

Another Trip to The Beach.

Last Saturday must be one of Xiao Bi’s happiest day so far. Firstly, DARL took her out for a walk early in the morning. Secondly, it has been a while since the last time we brought Xiao Bi to the beach. Finally this Saturday DARL was on leave and finally he agreed to bring her to the beach again. :D

We prepared and left for the place at around 4:30PM. Xiao Bi was very clever this time that she hopped into the car on her own. :D

Upon arriving at the beach, we saw a Golden Retriever jogging along the beach with a Japanese gentleman and a few kids. Not sure if it was a he or a she, I think it’s a she, and oh she looks so beautiful. Xiao Bi as usual was too excited to see new friends and DARL certainly had a hard time trying to pull her back. :D

Beach1.

The GR with the Japanese. She had a darker coat compared to Xiao Bi.

We found ourselves a good spot to place our stuffs. DARL then brought Xiao Bi to test the water.

Beach2.

Testing, testing…

PhotoHunt: Free.

As DARL came back last night after his long break back to his hometown, I almost forgot about PhotoHunt, again. :D

Anyway, I was talking to him about this free movie ticket from my elder brother the other day. My elder brother’s customer gave him 2 free movie tickets a few days back. As he has been quite busy with work lately, he decided to give it to me and DARL. We haven’t decided which movie to watch, but free is always GOOD! :D

PhotoHunt Free

Happy Hunting everyone! :)

CNY Q & A.

I seldom go out of the house during CNY. Probably it’s due to my preferences of being in a quiet environment. Also, I particularly like it when I can rest at home. I just don’t like going out under the super hot sun during CNY, and get myself stuck in the traffic – I’ve always believed that the sun shines much more brighter during CNY. :P

Anyway, when my family was at my grandma’s place on the 2nd day of CNY (or was it eve?), me and my brother got into a short conversation of the most asked questions during CNY. For the background, my elder brother has a 6 month young lovable daughter (my niece), and a pharmacy less than 6 month old. My younger brother is in his 2nd year of university life. Me, I am not married, nobody knows understands what I work as. :D

“CNY is always about asking questions and giving answers. I really don’t like it when I have to repeatedly answer the same questions.”

“Yeah. You’ll surely being asked what year are you in the university now; where are you staying now; how many more years to go.”

“Yeah. You’ll surely being asked when are you getting married. Wahahaha!”

“Hey I think elder brother won’t be asked any question this year. He is married, so no more when-to-get-married question. He just got a 6 month old daughter, so people won’t ask if he wants another one so soon. How good!”

“No you are wrong. He has a new shop. He will be asked how long it has been operating and how is the business. Wahahahaha!”

True. @.@

And then for the past few days, I’ve discovered another question that I have to answer particularly for this CNY:

“Eh you are not back in Kelantan ah?”

What the H. @.@ Don’t skip your questions. I am not married yet, dude.
