My family – especially my parents and I – always prefer to have wooden furnitures in the house. Although we believe too much of them may make the house look too ‘tropical’, we did try to accommodate as much as we can. :)
This swing was bought less than a year ago. My mum (and me) was so in love with it that my dad had to fork out the money for it. :D We didn’t spend much time on it after that since the garden was still a mess at that time.
However, dad has been spending some time cleaning the garden lately and we have built a small area for the swing. Dad is currently varnishing the swing to make it look fresh and new again. :)
Happy Hunting everyone! :)

That area looks like a resort!! Those bamboo blinds are great, your dad is pretty sweet in revamping the area for the swing and varnishing it as well!!
I like that swing a lot too!
This is a very cool corner!! I would like to have one like yours. I’m going to show my hubby your photo and make him do it. hehehe…. Where did you buy your bamboo blinds, I can’t find them in Singapore.
Wow, I wish I could step outside to this!!! Beautiful!

I would love to have that swing! It looks so beautiful – your father has done well.
Lovely wooden swing to while the time away and relax. Prop some pillows and you are good to go :)
Good idea on the curtains, rarely I see swing being shaded by curtain. One day must visit your home.
