It Doesn’t Make You Wiser If You Are Older.

What would you do if someone tell you that you are not so capable of something that you have been doing, or point out some areas that both parties can work together to improve?

I imagine I would at first deny and find excuses *ahem, I am human too*. But I will definitely ask myself if that is true, and look at myself on what I have been doing.

  • Have I been creating problems for others during the process?
  • If yes, is there a way to make others life as well as mine easier?
  • If it’s somehow because of the procedures that have caused problems and delays to my work, how should I voice this to gain support and assistance so that everyone’s work is smoother?

These will be among the questions that I’ll ask myself. I am sure there are more but these just pop to my mind now.

I believe that in a working environment, everyone strives to give and perform the best. But as everyone comes from different background, there are always conflicts in terms of working attitude, habit, and even ways of communication. We should consider others’ feedbacks, sit down, and look at ourselves, before giving excuses and refusing to improve for a better working environment.

It doesn’t make you wiser if you are older. It only shows how stubborn and not open-minded you are when you only accept yourself and refuse to improve.
